Ivanka Trump reveals her maternal grandma ‘Babi’ has been living with her family in Miami ‘for the last couple of years’ as she shares sweet photos of them all celebrating the 97-year-old’s birthday
Ivanka Trump has paid tribute to her grandmother Marie Zelníčková – whom she affectionately calls “Grandma Babi” – in honor of her 97th birthday.
The former senior White House adviser took to Instagram on Wednesday to post photos of her family celebrating the milestone at their home in Miami, Florida.
Ivanka, whose mother, Babi’s daughter Ivana Trump, died last year, revealed that her maternal grandmother has been living with her in her luxury apartment for a few years.
“Last week we celebrated my grandma Babi’s 97th birthday,” the 41-year-old wrote at the start of her heartfelt caption.

The first photo shows Ivanka kneeling and holding hands with her grandmother, who is in a wheelchair.
Her blonde hair hangs loose around her shoulders and her head is tilted toward her grandmother’s as she smiles at the camera.
The photo was taken in her dining room, which was covered in balloons in different shades of pink for the family celebration.
The former first daughter is wearing a yellow summer dress and is barefoot, while Babi matches the decor with a pink cardigan and crisp white pants.
The following images show Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore, all smiling as they huddle next to their great-grandmother.
Jared, 42, wears a white T-shirt, slate gray vest and white sneakers, while Joseph, nine, and Theo, seven, wear matching white polos and khaki pants.

In the other, more recent photo, she poses with her grandmother while soaking up the sun on an outdoor patio.
Ivanka’s tribute to her grandmother Babi comes less than three months after she marked the one-year anniversary of her mother’s death.
Ivana was found dead in her New York mansion on July 14, 2022, at the age of 73, after suffering blunt force injuries from a fall down the stairs.
The late Czech socialite is buried at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where the Trumps often spend their summers together.
Ivanka leans on her husband, three children and grandmother as she continues to grieve.

Ivana had three children with her ex-husband Donald Trump, Ivanka and her brothers Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
The former president also has a youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump, 29, with Marla Maples, and a teenage son, Barron Trump, 17, with his third wife, Melania.
The three eldest Trump children were born and raised in New York City, but Ivanka has lived in Miami since her father left the White House in 2021.
Last October, Ivanka and Don Jr. traveled to the Czech Republic to receive an award on behalf of their late mother, who was honored by then-President Miloš Zeman for her “dedication to the cultural and social life” of the country.
