Ivanka Trump posts cryptic Christmas message from beach getaway

Ivanka Trump posted photos from a tropical Christmas vacation on Tuesday, showing she wasn’t missing politics as her father prepared to reenter the White House.

“Feeling an abundance of gratitude this Christmas Eve,” Ivanka Trump wrote, posting a photo of her standing in the shade of trees on an unfamiliar shell-covered beach, a wide-brimmed sun hat in hand.

Trump’s 43-year-old daughter also shared a photo of herself reading a book on the beach a day earlier.

‘Cyberpunk sci-fi at its best!’ she wrote, sharing a photo of a copy of Neal Stephenson’s book The Diamond Age.

Trump’s daughter doesn’t seem to miss politics, even as her father stormed back from his 2020 election loss to emerge as president-elect in 2024, defeating President Joe Biden who dropped out of the race after his first debate and vice versa President Kamala Harris defeated.

Ivanka Trump, who joined her father in the White House in 2017, opted not to return to the 2024 campaign and return to Washington, DC, with her family.

She spoke about her experiences with politics in a July interview with podcaster Lex Fridman.

‘Politics is a pretty dark world. There’s a lot of darkness, a lot of negativity and it’s really at odds with what feels good to me as a human being. It’s a really difficult thing,” she said.

Ivanka Trump said she would stay out of the political arena and maintain her private life with her family.

“It feels good for me and my family not to participate,” she said at the time.

Trump claimed she would still be publicly involved by volunteering to help those in need, even as she maintains her private life at her husband Jared Kushner’s $24 million Florida mansion on Indian Creek Island.

Ivanka continues to share updates from her life on Instagram, charity efforts and her travels.

Earlier this month she posted a photo of herself posing with a flamingo.

Ivanka Trump also has a passion for jiu jitsu, as her entire family now takes classes with the Valente Brothers in Miami.

‘For me, there’s something very empowering knowing that I have some basic skills to defend myself. I think it’s something that we as people have kind of gotten away from,” she told Fridman.

Ivanka Trump shared a detailed list of things she wanted to do in life with Fridman, including goals of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, getting her black belt in martial arts and even one day traveling to the moon.

‘I would really like to go to space. Not just space. “I think I would really like to go to the moon,” she said.
