The former president’s daughter was appointed one of her father’s top advisers in the White House in 2016.
Her husband, Jared Kushner, also played a leading role in negotiating the Abraham Accords in an effort to bring peace to the Middle East.
This is the first time Ivanka has spoken out, as she was not seen at any point during her father’s trial.
Ivanka made her desire for a quieter life clear in 2022 when Trump announced his presidential candidacy.
“I love my father very much,” the mother of three said in a statement.
“This time I choose to prioritize my young children and the private life we create as a family.”
‘I have no intention of getting involved in politics. While I will always love and support my father, in the future I will also do so outside the political arena.”
