Ivanka Trump now BACKS dad Donald’s 2024 campaign despite previously distancing herself – and wants another White House role for herself and husband Jared Kushner if he wins again

Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka seems to have reversed her decision to retire from politics amid his rising popularity numbers.

Ivanka, 41, who was Trump’s White House adviser with her husband Jared Kushner, said she retired from politics in November to spend more time with her family.

But members of Trump’s inner circle have said his oldest daughter and son-in-law have recently resurfaced behind the scenes, according to Vanity Fair.

Rumors of their renewed involvement in his 2024 campaign began circulating after they were spotted among MAGA elites at a private event at Trump’s Bedminster golf club last month.

Since then, the pair have been seen “much more often” at political networking and campaign events – ostensibly as members of the family rather than in an official advisory capacity – as Trump’s ratings soar.

In mid-November last year, Ivanka said she would not be involved in her father’s 2024 White House nomination, instead focusing on her children.

“They’ve been spotted more than once this summer,” a top campaign strategist told Vanity Fair. “They have made it clear that they support us. They come to meetings to say hello.’

A former Trump official also told the magazine that Kushner, 42, whose private equity firm Affinity Partners relies on Saudi investment, “needs to protect his territory, especially in the Middle East.”

“Now that the president is 40 points ahead, Jared naturally pretends to be involved,” they said. “If he becomes president again, Jared must protect his territory, especially in the Middle East.”

In mid-November last year, Ivanka said she would not be involved in her father’s 2024 White House nomination, instead focusing on her children.

“I love my dad very much,” she said in her Instagram announcement.

“This time I choose to prioritize my young children and the private life we create as a family.

“Although I will always love and support my father, I will do so outside the political arena in the future.”

Although Kushner attended Trump’s campaign launch that same month, Ivanka was noticeably absent as Trump drew attention to other family members in the room, including his wife, former First Lady Melania Trump, and his middle son Eric.

Youngest son Barron, as well as Eric’s wife Lara and Donald Trump Jr.’s fiancée, Kimberly Guilfoyle, were also at the center of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago ballroom announcement.

During that time, Trump’s political popularity waned as many of the candidates he supported in the midterm, including Kari Lake and Doug Mastriano, lost seats in previous Republican strongholds.

Meanwhile, his biggest rival, Ron DeSantis, appeared to be quickly gaining ground over Trump with a 10-point re-election victory.

But with the winds changing and Trump’s popularity rising, Ivanka and Jared seem angling to return to their roles as his White House supporters.

Their past involvement in his administration proved lucrative for Kushner in the months that followed.

Six months after leaving the White House in 2020, Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from a fund led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was a close ally during Trump’s tenure.

He secured the massive deal despite Affinity Partners – which only launched in 2021 – being flagged as “inexperienced” and “inadequate in all aspects” of its business by the Saudi sovereign wealth fund’s screening panel.

According to the New York Times, Kushner and the Saudi prince spoke by first name in text messages and phone calls for years during Trump’s tenure.

Their communication continued even after the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, 59, in October 2018, who was ambushed and killed by Saudi agents.
