Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner were photographed Tuesday night at Citi Field as they suffered the New York Mets a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs.
The couple and their two sons Joseph and Theodore—both of whom were decked out in Mets attire—sat in the front row of the crowd just behind home plate as they watched the Cubs pull out a narrow victory.
Before the game, the family took photos with Mets fan favorites Pete Alonso, Fransico Lindor and Kodai Senga.
They were allowed to take family photos in the Mets dugout and were also seen with Alex, the wife of team owner Steve Cohen.
Kushner and Trump both served as advisers to Ivanka’s father Donald Trump during his time in the White House, but have since distanced themselves from the former president, who currently faces a total of 78 charges in three criminal cases.

On the field, Mike Tauchman hit a tiebreaking homer in the eighth inning and Jameson Taillon retired his last 16 batters to win his fourth start in a row.
Cody Bellinger also went deep and Yan Gomes had an RBI double for the rising Cubs, who won for the 16th time in 21 games. They started the day 2 1/2 games behind Milwaukee in first place in NL Central and one game outside of a playoff spot.
Pete Alonso hit an early two-run homer for the sinking Mets that culminated in an amusing back-and-forth trot around the bases due to a replay review. New York has lost seven out of eight since trading Justin Verlander and other veterans at last week’s deadline.

Tauchman also made a difficult catch in deep right to prevent the Mets from scoring in the bottom of the eighth. Julian Merryweather retired big league batting champion Jeff McNeil in 2022 with runners at the corners to end the inning.
Adbert Alzolay worked a one-hit ninth for his 15th save in 16 attempts. He started a 1-6-3 double play off of Daniel Vogelbach to end it.
Taillon (7-6) gave up three hits in seven innings and improved to 5-0 in his last six appearances. He struckout seven batters, walked none and didn’t allow a baserunner after Omar Narvaez’s two-out double in the second.
With one out in the eighth, Tauchman sent a payoff throw from Drew Smith (4-4) to left-center for a homer on the opposite field that put Chicago ahead for the first time.
