Ivan Toney has suggested it will be ‘all good’ if Brentford decide to sell him this summer.

The forward is expected to leave the Bees at the end of the season to pursue bigger honors and was linked with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea ahead of the transfer window.

However, he first has a job to do at Brentford, where the Bees are locked in a relegation battle, just five points clear of the bottom three with 10 games left to play.

Toney has been in good form since returning from his gambling ban in January. He has scored four goals in nine Premier League appearances and is aiming for a positive end to the season for, and possibly with, Brentford.

Speak with Air sports Ahead of his side’s match against Burnley, he revealed that he is fine with leaving the club this summer, but has a number of achievements in mind first.

When asked what an ideal end to the season would look like for him, Toney said: “We’re starting to win games. From now until the end of the season we will win every game.

‘I scored twenty goals. We’ve got nine games left, I think, something like that? We keep nine clean sheets. Job is a good boy.

‘Things are falling into place. If Brentford sell me they make their money, I move to Madrid and it’s all good.’

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has admitted that Toney will ‘most likely be sold in the summer’, leaving his side in the dark over how they will replace one of their all-time best players.

However, he is expected to earn the club a significant fee, which they can reinvest if they can stay in the Premier League.

Toney, 28, has been touted as the solution to Arsenal’s attacking woes, but the Gunners’ recent goalscoring record and the form of Kai Havertz have dampened their need to invest in a striker.
