‘The writing is on the wall’: ITV’s The Larkins ‘to be removed after losing TWO million viewers and on-set casting disagreements’
ITV’s The Larkins will reportedly be dropped following disappointing ratings and “cast disagreements” following the departure of lead actress Sabrina Bartlett.
Having returned to the small screen between October and November for the second season, The Darling Buds Of May reboot lost two million viewers this time around.
Despite a star-studded cast that included Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan, this year’s premiere was watched by 2.9 million people, compared to 4.8 million last year.

We all assumed that Tok wouldn’t come back when Sabrina left. The last we heard was that there would be a new duo playing Mariette and Charley.
Sabrina loved the show. It is a great pity that she has decided to leave.
The Sun later claimed that she complained about Tok using a photo of her as his WhatsApp profile picture.
The Sun claims Tok used the image after Sabrina – now replaced by Joelle Ray – took a selfie on her phone, and the Mariette actress is said to have complained to show bosses, saying it ‘made her uncomfortable’.
A source from the show told the publication: “He insisted he had only done it as a joke, but she complained about his behaviour.”
“From that point on, there was a real tension between the two of them.”
An ITV representative declined to comment at the time.
