Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver will be a 'war-driven' sequel filled with 'heavy backstory' elements.
That's the verdict Rebel Moon's cast, who teased what viewers can expect from next year's epic Netflix Space Fantasy sequel.

The Scargiver will be released on Netflix in April 2024, so thankfully the wait won't be long.
Still with Rebel moon part 2 Four months from now, I couldn't resist asking the film's cast (at the film's UK junket in early December) for a few hints about what's to come in one of 2024's new Netflix films. It's understandable that they couldn't spoil anything important – we wouldn't want to anyway – but a few of them were brave enough to tease aspects of the case. Part 2: The Scargiver's atmosphere, tonality and story.
“It's about to start,” said Ed Skrein, who plays the villainous Atticus Noble. “He (Noble) will be angry after his humiliation in part 1, so he will kick himself off in part 2.”
“We're going to more locations, but we're also going deeper into each character, the story and the lore,” teased Sofia Boutella, who plays the role Rebel Moon's main character Kora. “We explore those relationships and hopefully make viewers more interested in the rebels' cause. In Part 2 we will also see something completely different for Kora, which sets the tone for the film and how she behaves. definitely be more fun, entertaining and full of action scenes.”
Part 2 is very action and war driven

The ramping up of action and sci-fi-laden drama are among the most plagued aspects of The Scargiver. Expanding on Boutella and Skrein's comments, Staz Nair – who plays Tarak – also indicated that audiences will see more of that in the sequel.
“Part 2 is very action and war-driven,” Nair said. “There are some really heavy backstories that justify and shed light on how each character ended up where you met them in Part 1. We get into heavy emotional stuff that affects us, and explore some dark and dramatic things within this setting. It's not something I expected, but that's why it's a space opera and not just a science fiction movie.”
Rebel moon part 2will then surely help Zack Snyder's new Netflix franchise shoot for the space fantasy stars. Unfortunately for a certain actor, Rebel moon part 1 marks the end of the road for their involvement in this universe on one of the world's best streaming services.
