It’s ‘chilling’ how many terrorists Biden has encouraged to cross the border: GOP Chairman says

EXCLUSIVE: It’s ‘chilling’ how many terrorists Biden has encouraged to cross the border: GOP Chairman Green denounces the administration’s ‘reckless’ policies allowing Afghans on the terror list to enter the US as Title 42 has ended

  • An Afghan who was on the FBI’s terrorist list was discovered trying to sneak in with a group of migrants
  • There have been 1.4 million known ‘escapes’ – migrants who have disappeared into the US interior since Biden took office
  • Chairman Mark Green fears there are more terrorists who have escaped the police and are now in the country

It is “chilling” to contemplate the number of terrorists entering the US through the southern border as a result of President Biden’s policies, the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee tells DailyMail.com following a recent arrest of a Afghan citizen on the FBI watchlist.

The blistering statement from R-Tenn. Chairman Mark Green comes after an Afghan on the FBI’s terror list was captured trying to sneak into the US at the southern border near San Diego, California.

Border Patrol agents discovered the Afghan through a fingerprint scan that connected him to a terrorist screening database.

The terrorist’s arrest came the day before the Biden administration allowed Title 42 to end — a pandemic-era rule that allowed for the swift expulsion of illegal migrants from the country.

Border agents arrested more than 10,000 migrants a day in the days leading up to the end of Title 42

Border agents were arresting more than 10,000 migrants a day in the days leading up to the end of Title 42, putting enormous strain on capabilities.

Of the 10,000, at least 3,000 were ‘escapers’, meaning migrants who escaped without being checked by border patrols.

Border agents told a group of senators visiting the stretch of the Texas border that it represented a 441 percent increase over the past two years under the Biden administration.

“As I have said time and time again — under the reckless policies of Secretary Mayorkas and President Biden, we have no idea who enters this country and is released into the U.S. interior,” Green said Monday.

The chairman praised the “good work” of Border Patrol agents, who arrested the individual before he was released into US communities.

However, he warned that “bad actors” worldwide, including those on terrorist watch lists, are “convinced they will be able to enter the country illegally” because of the Biden administration’s loosened border policies.

A busload of Texas migrants unloaded Sunday at the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C., home of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Speaker Green called on the Senate to pass the ‘Secure the Border Act’ passed by the House last week

“It is chilling to think of how many more known or suspected terrorists there are among those 1.4 million known escapees who evaded border patrol under President Biden,” he continued.

It has been confirmed that there have been 1.4 million known escapes since Biden took office in 2021, posing a huge security threat to the country if more individuals have slipped onto the terrorist list.

The chairman calls on the Senate to take up the ‘Secure the Border Act’, which was adopted by the House of Representatives last week.

The House package would bring back a number of Trump-era immigration policies, including Remain in Mexico, which requires those seeking asylum to wait in Mexico while their U.S. asylum application is processed.

President Biden has already pledged to veto the legislation — though it has no chance of being passed by the Democrat-led Senate.

Biden’s Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas has pushed back in recent days, reiterating that the border is closed and there will be consequences for those entering the US illegally.

“I want to be very clear, our borders are not open,” he said at the White House on Thursday.
