With tailored cuts in a simple hue, royal ladies have added an effective new weapon to their style arsenal: the stylish white two-piece.

Whether sharply tailored like Kate or deliberately oversized like the versions Meghan wears, the effect is the same: crisp and bright, yet workwear at its most regal.

If there’s something inherently daring about wearing one pure color, it’s also that white suits many skin tones.

And because it reflects light, it is also flattering.

Moreover, a pristine white suit remains a blank canvas for the royal family to accessorize and show off their polished beauty.

Although her tailored look felt timeless, she played with proportion by opting for an oversized blazer and roomy wide-leg trousers.

The look was kept minimalist with the addition of matching Aquazzura heels and a £2,200 Valentino bag.
