Israel's Defense Minister Denounces 'Hamas Propaganda' at Universities, Reveals Israel Has Helped to Thwart HUNDREDS of Terror Attacks in Britain and Europe in Recent Years

Israel's defense minister has rejected the spread of 'Hamas propaganda' across universities, declaring his country 'fighting on the front lines of the free world'.

Yoav Gallant also warned in a briefing to the Daily Mail that aid money raised by pro-Palestinian activists was being funneled to “terrorist networks” around the world.

Mr Gallant accused Hamas of 'capitalising' the humanitarian crisis, while brave citizens trapped in Gaza publicly criticized the terrorist regime for stealing their food.

An elderly woman risked her life by telling an Al Jazeera reporter that Hamas was taking their aid packages 'underground' into the tunnels. “Everything goes to their homes,” she said.

Another young Palestinian mother, seen cradling her baby, told a journalist, “You are sending us humanitarian aid, but I swear to God we are not getting anything.”

The Kfir Brigade operates in the Gaza Strip and its forces (pictured) have located and destroyed more than 30 tunnel shafts.

Mr Gallant spoke out to warn the British public about the true nature of Hamas. He focused on hateful pro-Palestinian protests, where the level of overt anti-Semitism has shocked the people of Israel.

The minister warned: 'Hamas propaganda is influencing universities and protests, and money is flowing in, activating terror networks around the world.

'This is a collision course between civilizations. Hamas represents a medieval phenomenon.

'If a fire breaks out in the first house, you must prevent the fire from spreading through the village and reaching the church.

'Israel is like the first house. We are fighting terrorism on the front lines of the free world.”

Mr Gallant also revealed that Israel has “helped thwart hundreds of terrorist attacks in Britain and Europe in recent years” and stated that the alliance between his country and Britain has never been stronger.

The briefing in Tel Aviv comes after the Mail on Sunday reported how Palestinians accused Hamas of plundering entire neighborhoods that have been evacuated since the war broke out.

For those in Britain who still support the evil regime in Gaza, Mr Gallant pointed to the revelations.

He said: 'Hamas is using every tool possible – including sacrificing hundreds of thousands of civilians. They take advantage of the humanitarian situation and exploit the civilian population.

'They've built hundreds of kilometers of tunnels under hospitals, schools and so on. They use hospitals and civilian infrastructure to protect the terror infrastructure.”

Gallant also said he believed Hamas “underestimated Israel's retaliation.” Israeli forces have already surrounded Gaza City in the north with fierce street-to-street fighting, with hundreds of terrorists surrendering.

Meanwhile, a new offensive was launched in the south last week, hitting hundreds of targets on land, air and sea.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on Hamas terrorists to 'surrender now'

Mr Gallant said: 'It's hard to get democracies to go to war, but once we are at war we are much stronger because we fight to defend our values.

“In the northern region of Gaza, Hamas is suffering enormous losses and achieving our military objectives. Hamas terrorists have two options: die or surrender.”

Speaking after his British counterpart, Grant Shapps, visited Israel, Mr Gallant said: 'The level of understanding and cooperation between Israel and Britain, militarily and in intelligence, is at a peak and will only continue . We share the same values and interests, especially in the fight against terrorism.

'Secretary Shapps' visit was historic: we have not had a visit from a British Defense Secretary for 27 years. We attach great value to our relationship and cooperation in the field of defense.'

He also warned Hezbollah in Lebanon to “ask themselves whether they want the same things to happen in Beirut” as in Gaza.

Mr Gallant said: 'We do not want war, but if we reach a situation where we have to establish our security here, we will not hesitate – just as we have not hesitated in the south.'
