Israeli official calls for ‘Doomsday’ missile that ‘shakes the Middle East’ to be used in response to Hamas attacks – despite the nation never openly admitting to having nuclear weapons

An Israeli lawmaker has called on her country’s military to deploy nuclear weapons in response to the Hamas terror attacks that left 1,200 Israelis dead.

Revital ‘Tally’ Gotliv, a member of the right-wing Likud party in the Knesset, called several times on her social media accounts for her country to wipe Gaza off the map.

Israel’s military arsenal is extensive, and while the country is believed to have possessed a significant number of nuclear weapons since the 1960s, the tiny country located in hostile territory has never officially confirmed its nuclear capability.

Since Saturday, when Iran-backed Hamas terrorists brutalized Israeli towns and cities in the south, Israel has declared war on the Palestinian terrorists and launched a counteroffensive that Israeli leaders say will bring significant destruction to Gaza.

In one tweet, Gotliv, who has previously been extremely critical of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu despite their shared party membership, wrote: ‘Jericho Missile! Jericho Missile! Strategic warning. before considering the introduction of forces. Doomsday weapon! This is my opinion. May God preserve all our strength.’

The message was written and posted in Hebrew and was translated.

Jericho missiles are a common name given to a family of ballistic missiles first developed by Israel in the 1960s.

She urged her country’s military to ‘Shoot Gaza mercilessly!’

“Only an explosion that shakes the Middle East will restore this country’s dignity, strength and security,” wrote. “I urge you to do everything and use Doomsday weapons fearlessly against our enemies.”

Israel, she declared, ‘must use everything in its arsenal.’

She stressed that the Israeli government must react quickly as Hamas is currently ‘laughing’ at her country. She wrote that it would not be enough to just raze a Gazan neighborhood. The government must ‘crush’ all of Gaza.

Following the terror attacks, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately declared a state of war and has since vowed “mighty revenge” on Israel’s attackers that will end in victory for his country.

Israel’s military began shelling key Hamas sites in the Gaza Strip and issued warnings to civilians in certain regions before a wave of retaliatory strikes began Monday morning.

Early Wednesday morning, another wave of attacks began against Gaza.

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, said he had “released all restrictions” on the troops in their fight against Hamas.

‘Hamas wanted a change and it will get one. What was in Gaza will be no more,” he said while speaking to soldiers near the Gaza fence.

‘We started the offensive from the air, later we also come from the ground. We have controlled the territory since day two and we are on the offensive. It will only intensify.’

Gallant vowed to show no mercy to the terrorists.

“Whoever comes to decapitate, kill women, Holocaust survivors – we will eliminate him at the height of our power and without compromise.”

Speaking publicly on Tuesday about the devastating Hamas attacks that have launched Israel back into war with its hostile neighbor, President Joe Biden said: ‘Let me say again, any country, any organization that thinks to take advantage of the situation, I have one word: don’t.’

He called the Oct. 7 atrocity “unadulterated evil” and said his administration was reviewing intelligence to see if Iran or its proxies aided the attempt. The White House said it could not confirm at this time that Iran assisted in the attack.

Hamas continued to fire rockets at Israel from Gaza on Tuesday, as Israel prepares a possible ground invasion in response to the attacks.
