Israeli military says babies WERE beheaded, and a coroner has confirmed how they died: IDF spokesman says ‘It was hard to believe even Hamas could perform such a barbaric act’

An Israeli military spokesman this morning appeared to confirm reports that Hamas militants beheaded babies amid their merciless attacks this weekend that saw hundreds of Israeli civilians killed in their homes.

Israel Defense Forces spokesman Jonathan Conricus said a doctor who visited the aftermath of the massacre in Be’eri – a Kibbutz near the Gaza Strip where about 108 bodies were found – had seen the bodies of the children and confirmed how they died.

“I admit it took us some time to understand and verify that report and it was hard to believe that even Hamas could carry out such a barbaric act,” he said in comments broadcast by the BBC.

“I think we can now say, with relative confidence, that this is what Hamas did… there were bodies scattered everywhere, mutilated.”

Shortly after the Hamas attacks, reports circulated that the terrorists had raped women and children and beheaded babies, but these were later dismissed as disinformation.

But Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu claimed the attackers engaged in various atrocities in social media posts, including tying up boys and girls and shooting them in the head, burning people alive, raping women and beheading soldiers. He also shared an image of a child’s bed covered in blood, with the caption “Hamas is worse than ISIS”.

Rescue workers and witnesses have described horrific scenes, including the massacre of elderly people and the discovery of bloody rooms filled with butchered civilians.
