His twin brother Alex Venegas took to TikTok to show his support for his brother, writing, “Free him. Flysoulja x kodiyakredd real brother got you.”
This isn’t the first or second time Frankie has been in trouble with the police in his 22 years.
Frankie was last arrested and taken into custody in May 2023 after his then-girlfriend told police he had hit her and pushed her into a swimming pool.
The girlfriend told police they got into an argument by the pool at the Airbnb where they were staying after she threatened to break up with Venegas.
She said the break was due to Frankie’s “physically violent behavior.”
Venegas allegedly punched her in the face and pushed her into the shallow end of the pool, causing the friend to hit her chin on the pool’s concrete floor, according to legal documents.
Police noted bruises on her chin, legs and arms when they interviewed her at a nearby hospital. Venegas was arrested at Airbnb for investigation of domestic battery and later released.
Venegas was also accused of domestic violence by Montaisha Shanell on Instagram Live in January 2022. Shanell alleged that Venegas regularly hit her with abuse dating back to at least April 2021.
He was also charged with assault in March 2022 after he allegedly punched his brother’s girlfriend after she refused to leave their home. No charges have been filed.
Venegas and his twin brother Alex went viral on social media in 2021 for their a cappella track Island Boys.
The fraternal twins were the subject of a 2021 documentary titled Trolled: The Untold Island Boys Story.

Another brush with the law occurred when a home rented by the Island Boys was raided in February 2022 when police arrested Andrew Thomas of West Palm Beach, who was accused of killing an eight-year-old girl in a stray shot in Florida.
Thomas was at the home of the two Florida-based rappers when he was arrested three days after the murder of Ronziyah “Ziyah” Atkins.
Ziyah was playing in the front yard of a house in the 500 block of Southeast First Street in Belle Glade, an hour west of Palm Springs, with her cousins around 7 p.m.
Police said Thomas pulled up in a car and opened fire, allegedly looking for another target, authorities said.
