Isla Fisher has pocketed almost $1 million after selling her Sydney apartment during her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The Australian actress, 48, announced the end of her 14-year marriage to British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in April this year.
In the aftermath of their divorce, Isla had tried to vacate her two-bedroom Woollahra apartment and managed to go through with a sale last month after reducing the price.
Now it has been revealed exactly how much Isla managed to raise for the art deco apartment, which she bought almost thirty years ago in 1995 for $171,500.
Isla has has scored a generous $930,000 from the sale after originally being offered at auction for a guide price of $1.1 million, according to reports.
Isla first put the device up for sale in September, but had to reduce the price twice before the auction was suspended due to a ‘soft’ market.

After the auction’s cancellation, the apartment lost another $100,000 from the list price before returning to the market for a stable $990,000.
The sale was ultimately completed through private negotiations on October 22, with Isla being ‘happy’ with the sales result.
Isla bought the property, located on the edge of Centennial Park, just a year after launching her career as Shannon Reed on Home and Away.
While working on major Hollywood films such as Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic, Isla used her Sydney apartment as a rental investment property.
It was last marketed in early 2021 at $400 per week, after being reduced from $680 per week due to the Covid-hit rental market.
The apartment has a quiet and elevated location at the rear of the building and has a ‘spacious’ renovated kitchen, bathroom and a master bedroom with built-in appliances.
Most recently, Isla lived in Western Australia with her now ex-husband Sacha, but it is believed she is looking to move to North London.
Sources recently told The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that she has a budget of £13 million (AUD$24 million) and was house hunting in Hampstead.

Isla and Sacha jointly filed to end their marriage in 2023 and publicly confirmed their divorce in April this year.
Their statement read: ‘After a long tennis match of more than twenty years, we finally put down our rackets.
‘In 2023 we jointly filed an application to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been working through this change quietly.
“We share forever in our devotion and love for our children. We very much appreciate that you respect our family’s wishes for privacy.’
The couple first met in 2001 and tied the knot in 2010, with the end of their marriage coming just a few years after their family moved to Australia.
They share three children – two daughters and a son – who they keep out of the public eye.
