Isla Fisher shows off her nail art to ‘protect’ her against ‘evil intentions’ – following split with husband Sacha Baron Cohen
Isla Fisher is currently living the best part of her single life and on Wednesday she treated herself to a luxury manicure.
The Australian actress, who recently split from husband Sacha Baron Cohen after nearly 14 years of marriage, posted a photo of her “evil eye” nail art.
Symbols of the evil eye have been found extensively in various cultures throughout history.
They are widely believed to ward off evil intent and curses and provide protection to the person wearing the symbol.
Two of Isla’s nails featured small blue and white evil eyes, which matched her similarly printed top and phone case perfectly.
This came after Isla appeared to send a cryptic message to her ex Sacha, 52.
The 48-year-old Wedding Crashers star posted the message to her Instagram page on Tuesday while attending Robbie Williams’ concert in London.
Isla shared a photo from the show and made sure to repost the lyrics to Robbie’s iconic song Angels, which the singer previously revealed is about loss and grief.

“I love angels instead. And through it all, she gives me protection, lots of love and affection, whether I’m right or wrong,” the lyrics read.
Robbie said the following about the song’s meaning in 2009: ‘Angels isn’t about anyone, it’s about the thought of loved ones who have passed away coming back and taking care of you.’
Isla has been having a great time since she recently announced that the couple has split.
She looked in high spirits on Monday as she laughed and joked with handsome British actor Ben Barnes at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for the eighth day of Wimbledon.
The newly single star threw her head back and giggled during a lively conversation with The Chronicles of Narnia star, who was seated in the row in front of her.
Isla and Sacha announced in April that they had quietly split last year.

The couple announced the news by sharing a photo of themselves together wearing tennis gear, using the sport as a metaphor for their marriage.
Their statement reads: ‘After a long tennis match of more than 20 years, we are finally putting down our rackets.
‘In 2023, we jointly filed a petition to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working toward this change.
“We share forever our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate you respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Last month it was revealed that Isla is currently looking for a house in Hampstead, North London.
The star, who has three children with Sacha, was lives in her native Australia with the British comedienne.
However, she now plans to move to the UK, a sign that the couple’s split is being handled with an exemplary absence of animosity.
Sources told The Ny Breaking’s Alison Boshoff that she has a budget of around £13million and is looking for a permanent home for her and their three children.
A friend said, “It’s all about the kids and what’s best for them. There doesn’t seem to be any drama at all.”

‘Given the size of the budget, the family will now live in London. But Isla will keep her place in Australia.’
According to insiders, the marriage had been ‘rocky’ for years and Sacha is said to have struggled after they had to make the ‘sacrifice’ of moving to Australia with their family in 2020.
In September 2021, they moved from Los Angeles to Sydney and then to Perth, where Isla’s family lives, to escape Sydney’s strict Covid lockdown rules.
Sacha is believed to be in the process of buying his own home in London, while he is believed to be keeping a home in Los Angeles for work.
