Iskra Lawrence models a peach-toned bikini as she talks body positivity: ‘We don’t need to be perfect, being ourselves is always enough’

British pin-up Iskra Lawrence has posed in swimwear for her new Cupshe launch.

The 33-year-old spoke to DailyMail.com about how she keeps a positive attitude.

“My favorite body acceptance message is that everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way – we don’t have to be perfect, just being ourselves is always enough,” added the blonde, who was seen in an orange suit last week.

“Embracing and celebrating our differences is essential to cultivating self-love and acceptance.”

The blue-eyed cover girl also said she has a phrase she likes to remind herself of.

“When I’m feeling down, I often remind myself of the quote, ‘You are enough.’ It serves as a powerful reminder that I am worthy and deserve love and acceptance just as I am,” the 5ft9in star said.

“My favorite message about body acceptance is that everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way – we don’t have to be perfect, just being ourselves is always enough,” the blonde added.

She modeled the 37-piece swim collection.

“My Cupshe collection is a reflection of my values and celebrates body acceptance with bright, bold colors and prints that help you stand out and embrace your unique style,” she told DailyMail.com.

‘When it comes to feeling sexy in swimsuits, I like styles that emphasize my curves and make me feel confident.’

She added that the bright orange two-piece bikini is her favorite: “It’s high-waisted and gives me that nostalgic ’90s vibe – and I always think we should be bold and stand out.”

The second favorite is the noir look: ‘I’m also in love with how the black one-piece swimsuit feels because of the unique shaping fabric that makes it fit my body in the best way and looks so chic and elegant at the same time.’

When asked when she feels best about herself, she told DailyMail.com: ‘When I take care of my body and mind.

‘Engaging in self-care activities, such as practicing mindfulness, exercising and nourishing myself with healthy foods, also makes me feel confident and powerful.’

It turns out that her mother has given her all the support to move forward in life.

“Growing up, I was inspired by my mother, who showed me unconditional love and unwavering support in everything I did,” Iskra said.

“I will always be inspired by my grandmother who worked nights in the carpet factory after having ten children and losing her husband and always continued to work hard and take care of everyone,” the down-to-earth star said.

Iskra said she is proud to work with Cupshe because they have a wide selection of sizes.

The collection features a selection of women’s swimsuits and cover-ups in sizes XS-3X, along with matching ‘mommy and me’ swimwear for boys and men’s swim styles.

The model said: ‘What I love about shopping at Cupshe is their commitment to inclusivity – they work and collaborate with so many amazing women offering a wide range of sizes and styles all year round.

“The campaign features a huge range of swimsuits and cover-ups with 37 styles I love,” the Worcester resident added.

Prices range from $24.99 to $45.99.

Using completely unretouched images, the collection aligns with Iskra’s strong stances on body acceptance and self-love, the company told DailyMail.com.

Iskra is the founder of the popular TikTok viral beauty brand Saltair, a body-positive advocate, mother and model.

This comes three years after Lawrence shared a very personal story: She said her son “wasn’t breathing” when he was born. The model welcomed a son with Philip Payne in 2020.

She said her son had problems during birth. It took “two to three seconds” for her little one to start breathing after he was born. “He wasn’t breathing for two or three seconds,” she said. “When you look back and all you see is a lifeless, blue body… that was really scary.”

But luckily Iskra’s son started breathing shortly after he was born, and the beauty says it “all happened so quickly” so she wasn’t “traumatized” by the incident.

'When it comes to feeling sexy in swimsuits, I like styles that emphasize my curves and make me feel confident.' She added that the bright orange two-piece bikini is her favorite:

She added: ‘It all happened so quickly that it wasn’t traumatising. I couldn’t even comprehend what was happening because (my midwife Ellie) was just dealing with it.

‘She said, ‘I know exactly what I’m doing, there’s nothing scary here, we’ve got this.'”

Iskra also joked that she “almost passed out” due to the pain of her contractions, but said that two days after giving birth she realized that she would “absolutely” have to go through the ordeal again to have a second child.

She said, ‘There is something in nature that protects you from remembering the vividness of the pain. You would never do it again if you kept reliving the pain, because there really isn’t anything like that.’

And the model’s boyfriend Philip was blown away by his friend’s ‘resilience’ during the birth of their son, when he called Iskra ‘superhuman’.

In a video recorded for Iskra’s YouTube channel detailing the birth of their son, Philip said: “It just showed so much strength and so much resilience,” Payne praised his girlfriend earlier in the clip. “You just stayed through it and fought through it. I looked at you and thought, ‘Wow. This is superhuman.’ ‘
