The horrific scene teenagers found after their mate was allegedly murdered during a camping trip in the bush – and the gruesome detail that’s left them severely traumatised

Classmates of the teenager who was allegedly stabbed to death while camping have been left traumatized after stumbling over their friend’s body the morning after his disappearance.

Daily Mail Australia can now reveal that 15-year-old Isaac’s body was so badly injured that even his friends didn’t recognize him and thought they had found a murdered homeless man.

The teenager’s blood-soaked body was discovered face down in undergrowth near Wilton, southwest of Sydney, about 7.25am on November 9, after he left his friends the night before.

But they only recognized Isaac by his shoes and confirmed the gruesome discovery when they turned his body over.

“He was covered in blood, his gray T-shirt was black, soaked and they only recognized him by his shoes,” one of the teenager’s mothers told Daily Mail Australia.

‘Can you imagine that? Can you imagine what that did to them? They’re children.’

Isaac had left the teen’s campsite the night before and told his friends he was going home because he was cold and hungry.

Police allege the boy later came across a car on a dark and lonely country road, with chef Jacob Greig and a female companion inside.

Isaac, 15, was camping with friends in Wilton, just beyond the south-west suburbs of Sydney, on Friday evening when he was allegedly stabbed by Jacob Greig, 32

Greig, 32, was driven to the remote area near Maldon Weir by local duck farmer, Johanna Martin, after finishing his shift at the nearby Bargo Hotel at around 10pm.

But when Isaac tried to get into the car, father-of-one Greig is said to have confronted the teenager and accused him of cutting him with a knife.

After reportedly jumping back into Martin’s red Hyundai i30, the pair drove away while Isaac tried to jump onto the moving car.

Greig and Martin made the short journey back to his nearby home where his heavily pregnant fiancée and their young child were sleeping.

Police, who have since seized the car, claim video and audio of the incident from nearby CCTV captured the altercation.

Isaac’s body was discovered a short distance away the next morning by the same friends with whom he had been pitching tents just hours earlier.

Greig was later arrested and charged with Isaac’s murder after turning himself in at Narella police station, accompanied by Martin and her parents.

But the mother of one of the children Isaac was with – one aged just 13 – says they will be scarred by the crime scene they discovered and may never recover.

“They were held there for hours to be interviewed,” she said.

‘Right next to the corpse of their best friend. They will never get rid of this.

‘I see it now. They walk around completely emotionless, as if part of them has died too, completely lost.’

She said her family, and the families she is close to, have not received any form of counseling or psychological support for their children following the alleged murder.

“We don’t know what to do for them, they are hurt, lost and confused,” she added.

Isaac’s father, Paul, who gave permission for his son’s name and photo to be used, said he wanted Isaac to be remembered as a beloved son, brother and partner whose life was taken far too soon

Greig faced Parramatta Local Court via video livestream on November 10, with three of his family members present.

He was denied bail and will remain behind bars until he appears in court on January 8 next year.

Ms Martin has not been charged with any criminal offense and there is no evidence of any wrongdoing on her behalf.
