Is Trump on Wegovy? Ex-President looks particularly svelte on UK trip

He may have the weight of mounting legal woes on his shoulders, but Donald Trump seems to have slimmed down.

The 76-year-old has looked noticeably slimmer in recent weeks, despite facing at least nine lawsuits β€” including rape allegations β€” and juggling a 2024 presidential campaign.

Dr. Stuart Fischer, a New York-based internal medicine specialist, told DailyMail.com that the stress could curb Trump’s appetite and get him to exercise more β€” perhaps on the golf course.

Trump has been active on his Mar-a-Lago green amid his legal troubles and recently traveled to Scotland to oversee the opening of a golf course bearing his mother’s name.

Other experts have speculated that Mr. Trump could be given anti-obesity drugs such as Wegovy or Ozempic. Gov. Ron DeSantis, his main rival heading into the Republican primary, also reportedly downsized.

Dr. Shauna Levy, an obesity expert at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, told DailyMail.com, “It’s realistic to consider this possibility that he is on anti-obesity medications.”

Former President Trump’s last White House check in 2020 showed he weighed 244 pounds at a height of six feet.

This puts his body mass index at 30.5, which is medically considered obese.

Wegovy injections are intended for adults with a BMI of about 30 and above.

Dr. Levy said, “Given the availability and success of the drugs, I think there’s a good chance someone in this situation, no matter who they are, is on anti-obesity drugs.

“There’s no way I can tell if he’s taking it or not just by looking at his face,” she added.

“But again, in the current climate where we have these great anti-obesity drugs, and someone who has the means and the means to take these drugs and pay for them…”

Despite being a billionaire, Trump is known for his love of McDonald’s.

He stopped by the restaurant while visiting East Palestine, Ohio, in March, telling locals that he “knew the menu better than anyone.”
