Danish manager Brian Riemer held what has been called the shortest press conference ever after his side’s goalless draw against Serbia in the Nations League.
Denmark concluded the 2024 matches on Monday evening with the draw, with the likes of Kasper Schmeichel, Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund all involved in the match.
Stars such as Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic played for Serbia, but none of the attacking talents on either side could find a goal that would end the match with a winner.
The result meant Denmark finished second in the Nations League Group A League 1 table, eight points behind winners Spain and failed to win any of their last four matches.
There are now no more international breaks until March, meaning manager Riemer may go on holiday before work begins on the mission to help Denmark qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
And he wasted no time in his duties after the match against Serbia, as no questions came his way from the media present, so he quickly ran out of his seat.

As Riemer sat down to address the media, a briefing was held, which said: “Good evening and welcome to this press conference. We will continue to take your questions as usual, so please wait on the microphone and identify the media you represent and direct your questions to Brian.”
The 46-year-old seemed ready to answer whatever came his way as he scanned the room and waited for a few seconds as murmurs could be heard in the crowd.
“No questions?” the press officer asked, before adding, “Okay, thanks for tonight.”
Riemer stood up from his chair with a smile and left the room, just 16 seconds after he sat down and the conference started.
The coach took charge of Denmark less than a month ago and was appointed on October 24 to replace Kasper Hjulmand, who left his position in July after the country were eliminated in the round of 16 of the 2024 European Championship.
Riemer, who hails from Denmark, started his coaching career as a youth coach at Albertslund in his home country, and continued to work mainly in youth football until joining Brentford in 2018.
There he would serve as assistant coach to Thomas Frank in the Championship, helping to oversee promotion to the Premier League in the 2020/21 season and then being part of the coaching that took them to 13th place in the Premier League led.
He left midway through the Bees’ second season in the top flight to take over at Anderlecht, but was sacked in September before taking the job in Denmark.
