One user said on Twitter, “They call him the Punisher…they even say when he sleeps at night he doesn’t lock the doors.”
Another joked, “How can he wear shirts.”
A third commented, “He bought inflatable SpongeBob arms.”
It comes after an ex-Russian soldier nicknamed ‘Popeye’ because of his artificially huge biceps had 3 pounds of dead muscle removed by surgeons in 2019.
Kirill Tereshin, 23, was warned he could die or be amputated if he didn’t get rid of the three liters of Vaseline he had injected into each arm.
Tereshin increased his biceps by 25 centimeters in just 10 days after injecting ‘gallons’ of synthol into his arms.
The use of synthol can lead to emboli in the lungs, strokes, cysts and ulcers.
Before the dead muscle was removed, Tereshin was defeated in the space of three minutes in October 2019 in an MMA fight against Oleg Mongol in Siberia.
Footage from the “crazy” fight shows Tereshin demolishing with his opponent in the city of Abakan before being forced to the ground.
The disastrous implants caused Mr Tereshin ‘high fever, severe pain and weakness’
His opponent, 20 years his senior, settled the fight by pressing an elbow to his throat – an attack that could be considered illegal under Russian MMA rules.
However, Tereshin relented and the fight was over in three minutes.
Surgeon Dmitry Melnikov, who removed the substance from Tereshin’s arms, warned against the practice, saying, “Petroleum jelly saturates the muscles, subcutaneous tissues and the skin itself.”
“I think Kirill didn’t fully realize the consequences of what he had done,” he added.
