- Sources say the split had an “immediate impact” on the brothers' relationships
Noel Gallagher's recent split from Sara MacDonald has helped end a bitter feud with his brother and former Oasis bandmate Liam, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
Sources who know the siblings say the split had an 'immediate impact' on Liam and Noel's relationships, which are now 'closer than they have been in years'.
Noel, 56, agreed a divorce settlement with publicist MacDonald last month, ending a 22-year marriage that contributed to a vicious and often public rift with Liam.

'It [the divorce] made Liam and Noel confront some of the issues they constantly clashed over, rather than blaming someone else. The two are now closer than they have been in years. I wouldn't rule out an announcement that Liam and Noel want to perform together again next. There is already loose talk of a possible Oasis stadium tour in 2025.”
