Is that real fur, Khloe Kardashian? Reality star risks the wrath of animal rights groups as she emerges in huge coat 15 years after THAT ‘I’d rather go naked’ PETA campaign
Khloe Kardashian risked the wrath of animal rights activists when she emerged in a huge black and gray fur coat in the snow Aspen, CO with her sisters Kim Kardashian And Kendall Jenner on Thursday evening.
It’s unclear whether Khloe’s luxurious outerwear was made of real animal fur or faux. DailyMail.com has contacted its representatives for comment.
The 39-year-old former PETA partner – who posed nude during a 2008 campaign – wore a furry black bucket hat as she braved the cold.
The bombshell was glamorous in a full face of makeup for the outing, which saw her stop by the celebrity-favorite Kemo Sabe store.
She carried a black Hermès bag and stepped out in a pair of chunky black snow boots.
Khloé came out of PETA 15 years ago, but denounced the organization just four years later over a clash with her sister Kim.

Underneath her coat, the mother of two wore a black top with thumbhole sleeves.
The look drew attention to her signature super-long nails, which were painted a milky nude shade.
Long, silky golden blonde locks flowed from her over-the-top headpiece.
In 2012, Kim was pelted with a flour bomb on the red carpet, with the perpetrator later identified as one of PETA’s most influential members.
After the incident, Khloe released a statement online that read, “Hi dolls. I’m sure you all heard about what happened to Kim last week (thank you so much for the love and support you all showed her), and I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating the contrary.’
The message continued: “Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proven that they support this type of behavior.
“I have been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time, but I have also been very vocal about the fight against bullying, so this was a huge disappointment to me.”

She continued, “As you all know, I do not condone violence and bullying, and what happened last Thursday was exactly that.
‘I am absolutely disgusted by their behaviour. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. Personally, I don’t wear fur, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to impose my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them.’
The Good American founder added, “I’m a very proud sister right now because Kim handled last week’s incident like a champ. She was cleaned up and was back there within a few minutes. Go Kimmie!
‘We must all practice what we preach. I will still NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment are NEVER a solution, and I will not be part of any organization that thinks otherwise.”

Khloe was notably called out in 2020 for wearing a custom Cruella De Vil Halloween costume that incorporated animal materials.
She responded to criticism by hitting back with a later deleted comment that read, “I’m wearing a Halloween costume. It’s not real fur. But keep spreading your vile hatred instead of focusing on real issues.
“Why do people have to assume and attack so quickly? You have some obvious frustrations, dear, and they are completely misdirected. My advice to you would be: don’t attack people in general.’
However, fans quickly discovered a post shared by the designer of Khloe’s outfit, who claimed that fox and mink fur had been used in the ensemble.
