Is this proof that the Loch Ness Monster is real? Ghosthunters reveal audio of ‘distinctive wailing sound’ they claim is hard evidence the sea creature exists

Ghost hunters believe they have captured the spooky howl of the Loch Ness Monster.

Marquis HK, 55, and his friend Mark Dann travel around the UK visiting spooky locations with their ‘ghost detection kit’.

The friends took their dowsing rods, compasses and cameras to the shores of the famous Scottish loch and asked if any spirits were present.

A video shows the bars suddenly moving and a terrifying howl can be heard in the background.

The team believes this is Nessie’s cry and that it is strong evidence for the theory that the Loch Ness Monster is a ghost.

The duo were filming an episode of their YouTube series Extreme Ghost Hunters at the time.

Marquis, from Inverness, who works at a Nessie-themed exhibition centre, said: ‘It was amazing.

‘It’s a very unique sound and we were completely blown away by it.

‘It’s the sound of a creature crying, and it echoes across the lake.

‘I have been fascinated by the Loch Ness Monster my whole life. It is unbelievable that this happened.

‘One of the most common theories about Nessie is that it is a ghost, and the sound we heard is strong evidence for that theory.

‘I’m becoming more and more a believer in that theory. It explains why Nessie has never been proven or detected – plus no living animal could have been there that long.

‘Nessie has been spotted, but people may not see a physical being.

‘We didn’t hear it when we were there, but on the recording. I can’t explain it, it’s paranormal.

“There is no way this is a human sound and it can’t be coming from the equipment. We’re using manual equipment, so it can’t generate ‘fake’ sounds.”

The pair started ghost hunting earlier this year, inspired by Marquis’ interest in the paranormal and guide Mark’s knowledge of local history and myths.

An occultist named Aleister Crowley lived on the shore of the lake, at Boleskine House. Some believe he summoned many spirits there.

Marquis said, “We saw movement in our equipment when we were hunting in the cemetery, where Crowley summoned many spirits – perhaps he opened a portal.”
