DownDetector, a website that monitors the status of websites and popular apps, identified more than 1,000 complaints from angry NatWest account holders at around 7am this morning.
According to DownDetector, nearly 200 complaints have been filed about their online banking service, on the day many people receive their monthly paychecks.
NatWest customers took to X, formerly Twitter, to voice their displeasure. Numerous users complained that they were unable to make any payments.
