- The toaster has two slots for toast and is said to cost £53 ($64 / €60)
- Although it seems unlikely, Microsoft has already launched an Xbox Mini Fridge
From the Surface touchscreen computer lineup to the Xbox video game consoles, Microsoft is known for its impressive lineup of hardware products.
But a new leak suggests the tech giant could venture into the world of kitchen appliances with its next gadget.
Images have surfaced on Twitter showing what appears to be an Xbox Series S toaster.
The toaster has two slots for toast and an ‘anti-jam’ function and is said to cost £53 ($64 / €60).
While it seems unlikely, Microsoft has surprised fans with an Xbox Series X mini fridge before, in response to claims that its flagship console resembled a refrigerator.

Images of the toaster were posted on Twitter by the user @GyoJvfr this week.
“Xbox fan?” He wrote.
“Pull out your checkbook, it looks like the success of the Xbox Series X fridge has given you ideas.
‘Pre-order for €60.’
Next to images of the alleged toaster is a list of specifications and dimensions.
They suggest the toaster will measure 15in x 5.75in x 7.5in and have two 1.5in (40mm) side slots that will fit two 4.7in x 4.7in (120mm x 120mm) mm) pieces of bread.
Other key features include six browning settings, non-slip feet, a removable crumb tray and even an anti-jam function.
While Microsoft has yet to respond to the leaked images and confirm or deny the toaster, fans have flocked to Twitter to talk about it.
One joked, “They make more kitchen appliances than they make games.”
Another added, “It will be more powerful than the real thing.”
And someone wrote, “They must be fooling us now.”
If the toaster is legit, it wouldn’t be the tech giant’s first kitchen appliance.
In 2021, after the launch of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft unveiled a mini fridge after fans mocked the game console’s resemblance to a fridge.
The thermoelectric cooler, which costs $43.99, is a scale replica of the Xbox Series X and has room for eight cans plus a snack on the shelf inside the door.
“For the first time in Xbox history, a new system that ignores others – the world’s most powerful mini-fridge,” Microsoft joked at the time.
