Iris Law splits from Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold after sizzling five-month romance as pals reveal she was never cut out to be a WAG

Iris Law and Trent Alexander-Arnold have split after five months of dating, sources say.

The 23-year-old model and the 25-year-old Liverpool footballer were first linked in May after they were spotted getting cozy together in a racy Guess photoshoot.

Just weeks before news of their split emerged, they were photographed enjoying a mutually admiring beach vacation in Barbados.

A source said The sun that despite having a ‘really nice summer’ and going on holiday with Trent’s family in July, their busy work schedules are now clashing.

‘Life is starting to get very busy for both of them, with Trent having a busy schedule with first-team football and Iris having jobs all over the world.

‘Even though they are no longer in a relationship, Iris and Trent will definitely remain friends.’

The source added that Iris really liked Trent, but that she prioritized her career because she is “focused on her own success.”

‘And being a Wag was never really her thing, especially as Trent lives up north and she lives in London.’

Iris and Trent were first photographed together in May, taking a leisurely stroll through London and sparking romance rumors.

A bystander said at the time: ‘They looked very relaxed and happy and just walking around like two normal young people having a good time. You would never think they were very rich and famous, and most people didn’t even notice them.

‘They went into a café for a drink and because it was a beautiful day, they went for a lovely walk.’

The couple also visited 281 Portobello, a trendy shopping arcade, before hopping into a Mercedes MPV.

MailOnline then revealed that Trent had liked Iris’ social media photos – and that she had liked him back.

Iris posted a series of photos of herself in bed, having fun with her friends and standing in front of a large billboard with her face on it. The photos were liked by the Liverpool footballer.

Another photo showed her clinging to a mystery man on the back of a motorbike, with fans tagging Trent and even suggesting it could be him.

One of them commented: ‘I think they’re dating.’ Another added: ‘It’s a random link-up oat.’ But yet another suggested: ‘Maybe they’re just friends, it’s nothing deep.’

Iris has in turn liked a number of Trent’s recent posts, including a series of photos of him in action for Liverpool and another announcing the launch of his new adidas football boots.

It is not known how Iris and Trent met, but the footballer is believed to have been on the dating app Raya, which is also known as ‘the Soho House of dating apps’ because of its exclusive clientele.
