Ireland Baldwin pleases! Daughter of Alec Baldwin shares first glimpse of her daughter Holland
Ireland Baldwin gave birth to a baby girl named Holland, she joyfully revealed on Instagram on Tuesday.
Alec Baldwin’s 27-year-old daughter welcomed her first child with her musician beau RAC, whose real name is André Allen Anjos.
RAC and Ireland, who have been together since 2021, posed together for a tender photo that showed her rocking their little bundle of joy.
Meanwhile, RAC could be seen cuddling up to his child’s mother as they sat together in her hospital bed after a successful delivery.
In her caption, Ireland revealed that she had stuck to the plan she and RAC made months ago and named their daughter Holland.

“We call her Holland,” she told Girlboss Radio in January. “I’m Ireland, so we chose a different country name because we wanted to keep it consistent.”
She said another reason for their decision was, “I love the actress Holland Taylor. I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought it was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going for Holland.’
Ireland and Rac broke the news of her pregnancy on New Year’s Eve and wished fans: ‘Happy New Year’ with an echo on social media.
Her headline-grabbing pregnancy included a burlesque-themed baby shower at Hollywood strip club Jumbo’s Clown Room.
But the process of welcoming her firstborn child wasn’t just fun and games for Ireland, whose mother is LA Confidential actress Kim Basinger.
“Pregnancy is hard,” she wrote on Instagram in January. “It asks so much of you. I wasn’t ready for that. I’ve always wanted a baby with the right person.’
Ireland’s own childhood unfolded against the backdrop of her parents’ nasty divorce, which included a grudge custody battle that dragged on for years.
The drama reached an all-time low in 2007, when Alec left 11-year-old Ireland a scathing voicemail labeling her as a “rude, thoughtless little pig” after she missed a call from him she knew was coming.
“I grew up with a very jaded perception of what love really looks like and I’ve always wanted to have a child of my own with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally,” Ireland shared during her own pregnancy.
She confessed that she “underestimated how hard a pregnancy would be on my mind and my body.” Being someone with extreme health anxiety on a daily basis, pregnancy kicked things into high gear.”
Ireland openly had “difficulty adjusting to these changes,” such as “bodily sensations,” “aches and pains,” and “organs breaking down randomly.”
The showbiz legacy was haunted by thoughts like, ‘Wait until the baby comes, you ain’t getting any sleep’ b***h, I ain’t sleeping right now. QUIET.’
She wrote, “I am exhausted. I am unmotivated. I feel like life is passing by and my career hasn’t even started yet. It’s hard to come here and see mutuals dressing up for events, getting drinks, working on sets, going to school. It’s hard to feel alone.’
She spoke highly of RAC, stating, ‘I have my boyfriend who I think would have gone crazy without him. He’s everything and more to me, but man, it’s hard to go anywhere without family.’
