It’s only been out for a few hours, but an iPhone 15 Pro has already been involved in a nail-biting drop test.
MailOnline’s Shivali Best launched Apple’s new flagship from the window of a fast drift car, traveling around a race track at 60mph.
Despite having a new titanium frame, there’s no doubt that only the iPhone 15 Pro would have been destroyed in such a feat.
However, this device was protected with a Mous case, and amazingly, it survived the fall unscathed.
The impressive test is not Mous’s first: the brand has become known for its daring tests on iPhone launch days, previously launching an iPhone from a hot air balloon, and during a bungee jump 60 feet above the ground.

The iPhone 15 Pro was one of four new models that went on sale today, alongside the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The Mous team woke up early this morning and headed to the Apple Store on London’s Brompton Road, where they purchased the brand new iPhone 15 Pro and placed it in a Mous Limitless 5.0 case.
With the new device in hand, they headed to the Drift Limits circuit in Hemel Hempstead, where the £1,499 device was handed over to Shivali.
Before the nerves could set in, Shivali was slung into the passenger seat of a race car and driven to the race track.
With a GoPro trained on her nervous face, the race car sprang into action, with driver Johnny putting the accelerator to the metal as he expertly navigated the track.
The first few laps saw Shivali clinging to her seat belt for dear life.
However, in the fourth round, she managed to grab the iPhone 15 Pro, take a deep breath and launch it out the window.
As Johnny screeched to a halt, the Mous team raced onto the track, curious to see if the device had survived the fall.
Much to the relief of both Shivali and the Mous team, the iPhone 15 Pro itself was completely unscathed, although the case and screen protector both suffered some damage.

Built with the brand’s shock-absorbing AiroShock technology, Mous’ flagship cases feature raised edges around the sides and a camera bump.
As the test showed, this provides 360-degree protection for the phone – including the screen – from every angle.
“I honestly had no idea if the iPhone would survive,” says James Griffith, founder of Mous.
‘We have tested our suitcases from extremely high falls, but never at such high speeds.
‘It always amazes me what our engineers have managed to achieve with the Limitless suitcases.’
After the drift car test, Mous went one step further and gave the iPhone 15 Pro to Drift Limits F1 driver Lewis, who was behind the wheel of an authentic Jordan EJ12 F1 car.
As Lewis flew around the track, he launched the iPhone 15 Pro into the air before it landed back on the tarmac.
Amazingly, the smartphone once again survived in one piece, thanks to the Limitless case.

The stunt comes almost exactly a year after Mous tested the brand new iPhone 14 by launching it into the air in the middle of the bungee jump.
Lucy Hutchinson, Co-Founder and Chief Brand & Creative Officer at Mous, said: ‘We do crazy stunts and push our phone cases to the limit – and they don’t always work.
“We do this so our customers can trust that their technology is protected in their daily lives.”
The Limitless suitcases from Mous can be purchased from them website now, with prices ranging from £49.99 to £59.99.
