Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd won a major court victory on Thursday against his ex-wife Alice Evans in their bitter tug-of-war over custody of their two young daughters.

A Los Angeles judge granted the Welsh actor’s request that a child psychiatrist be appointed to lead the feuding couple’s increasingly hostile battles over Ella, 13, and Elsie, 9.

And he added, the therapist wrote, “I think it would be in your daughters’ best interests for Elsie to continue psychotherapy with me and for Ella to be evaluated by a child psychiatrist.”
