You may not know this, but since we first ventured into the world of podcasts, the Daily Mail has quietly become one of the most successful publishers in the world, winning awards, topping charts and delivering incredible stories to millions. brought people.
It started in July 2023, when our brilliant Mail+ team came up with the idea to report on the Taste Lucy Letby as a podcast, in collaboration with broadcaster Caroline Cheetham and our own Liz Hull.
The Trial of Lucy Letby series became a national phenomenon and rewrote the rules of what a true crime podcast is. Now in its fourth season, our coverage of the trial of Constance Marten and Mark Gordon becomes the latest must-list.
Building on this success, our podcast team, assisted by award-winning producer and presenter Jamie East, has created an audio network spanning genres such as showbiz, history, family, royalty, sports and crime, mostly sourced from our state-of-the-art -world. art studio in central London.
