InterSystems cloud integration service comes to NZ and more briefs

New Zealand launch of InterSystems’ cloud-based integration engine

InterSystems has launched its managed integration engine cloud service, HealthShare Health Connect Cloud, in New Zealand.

The platform-as-solution streamlines interoperability and data integration between clinical systems and applications. It also manages cloud migration infrastructure, allowing providers to “connect distributed data sets more quickly and easily and move workloads and information efficiently between cloud solutions and on-premise services.”

The company introduced the data integration engine in the country due to the increased demand for healthcare interoperability, especially the HL7 FHIR data sharing standard.

Cubiko releases MyMedicare module

General practitioner information platform Cubiko has introduced a new module to support clinics in the implementation of MyMedicare.

MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration model launched by the Australian government as part of wider efforts to strengthen the Medicare insurance system.

To help ‘formalize’ the connection between patients and their GPs, the free MyMedicare module on Cubiko allows practices to import CSV lists of registered patients directly from MyMedicare into the Health Professional Online Services, eliminating the administrative burden of manually registering patients in their clinic. It also provides actionable insights across different patient cohorts.

Additionally, the module, available on the Cubiko Assist Dashboard, features tools to help identify and enroll patients with upcoming appointments who are eligible but not yet registered for MyMedicare.
