Internet erupts with brutal memes in wake of RFK Jr. and Olivia Nuzzi sexting scandal
The internet is full of gross memes following the sexting scandal between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and journalist Olivia Nuzzi.
The affair is said to have begun in 2023, when the star political investigative reporter visited Kennedy’s $7 million California home to write an article for New York Magazine.
The 31-year-old was engaged to Politico’s chief Washington correspondent Ryan Lizza, 50, at the time.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, Nuzzi admitted that “the nature of a particular communication between me and a former reporter became personal.”
Meanwhile, her editors confirmed that the other party was a “former issue relevant to the 2024 campaign.”
Social media users have not been kind to the journalist and former presidential candidate.

Some memes consisted of shots of Hines portraying her character with a shocked look on her face.
Others laughed at the audience’s inability to understand Nuzzi’s attraction to the much older Kennedy.
The 70-year-old woman insisted he had met the political journalist only once when she profiled him last year, with a spokesperson adding that the relationship was “emotional and digital, not physical.”
Insiders told the New York Post that the pair had been “sexting.”
A 2015 tweet from Nuzzi shared with a NYMag article has resurfaced after the disgraced reporter was suspended. She asked, “Why does Hollywood think female reporters sleep with their sources?”
Nuzzi didn’t write the article, but hundreds of users quoted it, tweeted it and responded with memes and cruel insults after also finding Kennedy’s profile where the two “went for a walk” in 2023.
“Olivia Nuzzi from the future would like to have a word with you. I can’t tell if this has aged well or not,” one user commented.
