Inter Milan will reportedly bag £42.5 million in shirt sponsorship for the upcoming season.

According to Gazetta dello SportSimone Inzaghi’s side will ‘soon’ sign a deal to take over Paramount+ as their new main sponsor, with the club also signing a new contract with Nike until 2031.

eBay will stay on the Nerazzurri jersey sleeve until 2024 and with the online retailer paying Inter £4.2m per season to take up that space on their iconic black and blue shirt.

It is because the winners of the Coppa Italia played without a main sponsor for large parts of the season.

Paramount+ came in for the final two games of their season, including their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League final, with Inter turning to the streaming service as what seemed like a temporary solution.

Inter Milan are reportedly close to agreeing a new shirt sponsorship deal with Paramount+

It’s because they went without a shirt sponsor for large parts of last season after cutting ties with former partner DigitalBits

That arrangement could prove to be a lengthy affair, however, with Paramount+ initially, per Gazetta, intended to feature on the back of the Inter jersey.

The Italian outlet now claims the brand will become the club’s main shirt sponsor for the next three years, with the Serie A giants bringing in around £12.7m per season plus bonuses from Paramount+.

Likewise, the club’s eight-year partnership with Nike will continue, after the future of the deal was formalized on Monday, which will see the club reportedly receiving a £22 million base, as well as bonuses linked to how well Inzaghi’s side perform in own country and in Europe.

Inter enjoyed great success last season despite not winning the Champions League.

The Black and Blues were even pictured winning the Coppa Italia without a main sponsor, surprising given Inter’s prevalence in world football.

eBay also continues to feature on the front of their iconic black and blue shirt, as does Nike

Inter cut ties with the crypto company last year after they reportedly failed to pay their installments on time

In the 2021-22 campaign, the Milan side was seen wearing a kit with Socios.com branding on the front

They were left without a focal point on their shirts following an ongoing dispute with cryptocurrency company DigitalBits, which signed a multi-year contract with the club in September 2021.

That deal was worth around £72 million, he said FourFourTwo and cut ties with the brand after they failed to pay the Milan club on time last year.

It is because Chelsea released their 2023-24 shirt earlier this week without a main sponsor.

There’s been a lot of speculation about why there’s no main company on their ’90s inspired kit, but Mail Sport understands that’s because they haven’t been able to attract a suitable brand to work with.
