- Dzeko’s current contract expires in June and negotiations with Inter are stalled.
Inter Milan are interested in signing West Ham’s underprivileged striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to reports in Italy.
The 24-year-old joined the Hammers from Sassuolo on a £31.8m deal last summer but has not lived up to expectations.
However, his performances in England have not deterred potential suitors as Inter are eager to sign Scamacca to replace Edin Dzeko this summer, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Italian outlet reports that talks between Inter and Dzeko are stalling, with the striker keen to get a two-year extension to his current contract which expires in June.
However, the Serie A giants are only willing to offer a one-year extension and if no deal is reached they will turn their attention elsewhere.

However, Serie A giants Inter Milan want to sign him this summer, according to reports.
Dzeko’s current contract expires in June and he is keen to get a two-year extension at Inter.
Former Manchester City striker Dzeko has been among Inter’s goalscorers this season, netting 7 league goals in 25 appearances.
But at the age of 36, Inter are not planning their long-term future around him and the aim seems to be to sign a younger striker.
Meanwhile, Scamacca has managed to score three times in 16 Premier League appearances this season and appears to have slipped down the pecking order.
He made his first appearance since January after coming off the bench in a 2–0 Conference League round of 16 first leg win over AEK Larnaca.
Michail Antonio and Danny Ings appear to be ahead of him in West Ham’s hopes of avoiding slump and a summer exit looks likely for Scamacca.
David Moyes’ side will return to action on Sunday when they host Aston Villa at the London Stadium.
