According to reports, a man was killed after falling from a large Buddha statue and being impaled on another following a meth-fuelled rampage at a temple.
The 49-year-old man attacked a monk at the end of February and destroyed sacred statues at the site.
The man, named Ek, is said to have taken drugs with the monk before attacking him with a fluorescent tube.
He then closed all the doors and windows of the great hall and began smashing religious statues.
Police on the scene were concerned that he might be armed and initially waited outside the temple doors.

They tried to get him to surrender before the sound of destruction in the temple fell eerily silent.
Officers then entered the main room and found the man lying in a pool of blood.
A Buddha statue had its chest and lungs pierced at the temple in Chon Buri province, Thailand.
After a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that he had climbed the large Buddha statue in the temple, but apparently fell while trying to destroy it.
The man then plunged into the sharp end of the smaller Buddha statue below it, killing him on the spot.

According to local reports, the attacked monk, named Best, admitted to police that he had used meth with Ek earlier that day.
Apparently Ek, under the influence, hit the monk before running into the temple.
Best has since left monkhood due to his misconduct.
