Instagram goes DOWN and Facebook users suffer issues amid nationwide Meta outage

Instagram has gone bankrupt in the US as users report the app and service connection are not working.

Downdetector, a site that monitors online outages, also shows that Facebook is experiencing problems, but not as widespread.

The Instagram outage occurred around 9 a.m. ET, with more than 10,000 users submitting reports to Downdetector.

Facebook seems to work for some users, but those unfortunate few don’t have access to the website or app.

Both incidents are largely focused on the East Coast, with some users reporting issues in Southern California and Texas.
