Inspirational burn survivor Turia Pitt hit back at a vile online troll on Wednesday after they made a nasty comment about her appearance.
The 36-year-old athlete, who suffered horrific burns to 64 percent of her body in a forest fire 12 years ago, criticized the thoughtless hater in a stern TikTok video.
She called out and shamed the user for leaving a hurtful comment when he said her followers “lied” to her every time they called her “pretty.”
“So recently I shared a video here like you do because it's TikTok,” Turia explained in her video.
'And I got a lot of nice comments, as I usually do, saying things like, “Wow, everything you've been through,” “You're so amazing,” “You're so beautiful” — all those comments.”

The athlete who suffered horrific burns to 64 percent of her body in a forest fire twelve years ago slammed the thoughtless hater in a stern TikTok video.
She continued, “Then this person came along – 'Jayden' – and when someone said to me, 'You're so beautiful,' they said, 'Lying is a sin.'
“And I'd like to tell you this, Jayden. Being a fool is also a sin.”
Turia's fans flocked to her comments section to express their support for the motivational speaker.
“The fact that you've been through what you've been through and that you're still such an amazing kind and beautiful person means something,” one person wrote.
Another said: 'Don't listen to him, you are beautiful and what an excellent comeback.'
A third added: “Tell him girl! We know you beautiful,” while another commented: “Well said, Turia. Say it louder for the people in the back.”
The film comes after a planned film about Turia's life, starring Home and Away actress Tammin Sursok, was canceled in September
It comes after a planned film about the life of Turia, starring Home and Away actress Tammin Sursok quit in September.
In 2019, 40-year-old Tammin announced that she would play the courageous athlete who suffered horrific burns to 64 percent of her body in a forest fire twelve years ago.
But Turia recently told me The Daily Telegraph that further talks with the US-based Australian actor have been postponed.
“That was planned, but not right now,” the mother of two said of the proposed biopic.
