Inside the troubled life of a wanted man with a giant BEAST face tattoo

A wanted man whose intricate facial tattoos have set the internet on fire has seriously considered his life-changing ink, revealing extraordinary photos over many years.

The mugshot of Jaimes Sutton was released on social media on Wednesday by NSW police in an attempt to flush him out of hiding after he skipped bail in Deniliquin, near the NSW-Victoria border.

The 24-year-old father – who has “BEAST” tattooed on his forehead in bubble font – is wanted with an open warrant after being released on bail on charges of domestic violence and property damage.

The DV charge led to police filing a warrant for his arrest on behalf of a young woman.

Despite the allegations, it was his extensive full-face tattoo that caught the attention of Australians.

While many were quick to ridicule his unique appearance, a series of photos posted online between 2014 and 2021 show him transitioning very slowly from a baby-faced teen to a heavily inked crook.

Images from 2014 show that Sutton’s baby face was relatively clear, save for a few unintelligible tattooed scribbles on his neck.

In 2018, he had a series of black shapes and words on his arms, legs, chest, stomach and cheeks.

The first outlines of BEAST could be seen on his forehead, “Sutto’s guilty” was written in large letters on his stomach and “game over” was written across eight of his fingers.

Three years later, Sutton decided to go all in with a blue tattoo gun.

The black markings on his face were covered in denim blue ink, along with most of the skin on his cheeks and forehead.

The only areas untouched were areas above his upper lip and near his jaws, circles around his eyes, and the areas within the bubble font on his forehead.

Daily Mail Australia can also reveal that Sutton is no stranger to the justice system. He has a criminal record dating back to 2014 in courts in Wagga Wagga, Leeton and Deniliquin – each in regional NSW.

Just two weeks ago, Sutton had to appear in Deniliquin’s court on three charges of driving with an invalidated license and one of driving under the influence of drugs.

He pleaded guilty to all four charges in June but failed to show up to sentencing in September and was slapped with a year-long driver’s license suspension and a $900 fine.

In June, he appeared in the same court and pleaded not guilty to one count of ordinary assault and one count of assault that actually caused bodily harm.

The new AVO against him was upheld and is due to be mentioned in the local Deniliquin court next March.

When the mugshot was released online, many took to social media to comment on his bizarre appearance.

“If your toddler gets hold of a permanent marker,” one person tweeted.

Another said: ‘If they can’t find a guy who looks like this, they should be fired,’ wrote one man.

One woman joked: ‘He’s at Beauty… Castles in the area need to be searched. Because I’m sure she’s hiding him.’

“If only they would release some kind of description so that the public can keep an eye out and help them,” said another social media user.

The police appeal also caught the attention of journalist and author Amanda Goff, an ex-escort formerly known as Samantha X, and joked whether he was single.

When someone asked if he was her type, Goff joked, ‘we all love a bad boy…’

However, she assured Daily Mail Australia that she was not serious.

“He’s definitely not my type,” she joked.

“I’m going for blondes.”
