Inside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s ‘very romantic’ New Year’s Eve celebrations in Kansas City
Lovebirds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly had a “low-key” New Year’s Eve in Kansas City to ring in 2025 to keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs’ hectic football schedule.
Between the Chiefs’ games against the Steelers on Christmas Day and Sunday’s game against the Broncos, both Kelce and Swift’s schedules were as free as an NFL player can be in the middle of a season to see his friend.
The couple jetted off to New York City for a few days, had dinner at the famed BOND ST in Lower Manhattan, and headed to Chez Margaux to celebrate Swift’s good friend Ashley Avignone’s birthday.
Still, the couple reportedly flew to Kansas City and stayed until New Year’s Day Page six.
Kelce had the Chiefs practice every day Monday through Wednesday, which led to the decision he needed to be close. He also had a recording of ‘New Heights’ with his brother Jason, where Caitlin Clark was their special guest.
The outlet describes Swift and Kelce’s evening as “romantic,” with them sharing a kiss as the new year officially began.

Before Swift and Kelce spent New Year’s Eve in Kansas City, they were together in New York
The festive evening for Swift and Kelce was a change of pace from the way they celebrated their first New Year’s Eve together more than 365 days ago.
The duo was out with friends in the Kansas City area that night, instead of being alone.
There is plenty of speculation about where Swift and Kelce will be on New Year’s Eve.
Both are 35 and Kelce is toying with the idea of retiring from the NFL. Some expect the duo to get engaged before the 2025 season begins.
Swift ended her global ‘Eras Tour’ last month and has more time to see Kelce than at many other times during their relationship, which went public in September 2023.
Kelce will be in Denver on Sunday to take on the Broncos. Swift is not expected to join him as she has not attended a road race this season.
Not attending an NFL game outside of Missouri would only become an issue this season if the Chiefs advance to next month’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.
