‘In New York it can be a challenge to find the right balance between living, working and playing. Our homes and offices can only be part of the equation; Zero Bond is the piece you’ve been missing to perfectly complement city life.’

It continued, “While we do not discriminate on the basis of race, socioeconomic status or occupation, we are very picky by character.

“We only accept members who demonstrate a high level of integrity and an ability to contribute to our Zero Bond community.

“After submitting a formal application, the membership committee will make a decision on acceptance, taking into account all aspects of the person’s character.”

Speaking to The New York Times, owner Scott Sartiano admitted that he originally looked at the club’s address and considered a hotel, but the building was too small.

So instead he created an “urban lodge and social workshop” – which now apparently has 5,000 people on the waiting list for membership.

“There was a void of places to go for people who are sophisticated and successful and still want to be social at night,” he said.

“The business model at most clubs is really, ‘How many people can you stack on top of each other?’ I wanted to do the opposite.’

He also told Robb report magazine: “I’m a New York kid doing a New York version of a London social club.”

“I wanted athletes and actors to mix with finance, doctors and fashion. It’s about bringing all these people together. I don’t want to skew to one audience. I don’t think that’s cool. I don’t think that’s New York City,” he added.

Taylor reunited with her close friend and collaborator Ed Sheeran in New York City on Thursday after recently finishing the North American leg of her Eras Tour.

The duo, who have worked on a number of songs together over the years, went to dinner at the Zero Bond members’ club. They were flanked by security as they left the celeb hotspot separately.

Taylor, 33, looked effortlessly stylish as she sauntered out of the building in a rust-colored dress with a flowy satin skirt. Her blond hair was tied in a braid and she wore black platform loafers to match her bag.

The Anti-Hero singer was decked out in gold jewelry and had a Louis Vuitton bag slung over her body. After leaving the hot spot, she made her way to a chauffeured SUV parked just outside the establishment.

Meanwhile, Ed, 32, looked casual in a white tee and black skinny jeans. The British hitmaker hid most of his red hair under a cap and wore a necklace under his shirt collar.

He walked down the sidewalk in a pair of Jordan 1 Retro High OG Washed Black sneakers. He couldn’t get a ride with his friend because he went the other way with his security team.

Taylor is enjoying a rare downtime after finishing the first two North American legs of her Eras Tour with six sold-out shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

During the back-to-back shows, a number of A-list stars flocked to the venue to watch her perform alongside an estimated 500,000 fans.

The tour kicked off in March in Glendale, Arizona and was scheduled to end in LA on August 9, but more shows in the United States and Canada are scheduled for next year. Taylor will leave for South America later this month to perform in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil through November.
