Inside the Hamptons million dollar drug ring where rich clients dined with dealers and were chauffeured in Mercedes for top-of-the-line cocaine

It’s the most striking street in the Hamptons, Rodeo Drive in the East End. If you have money to spare, you can create an inferno here at Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton or Prada.

And until recently, Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village was also the place where you could buy couture cocaine from a drug dealer in a Mercedes. He would pick you up at a fancy Italian restaurant and drive you to a more secluded spot to close the deal.

And this wasn’t a street drug laced with fentanyl or bath salts. This was the real deal – “a much purer, high-end product,” a source familiar with the plan told DailyMail.com.

But now the entire million-dollar drug trade has collapsed after the alleged criminals who kept the Hamptons on the hook have been arrested.

Michael Khodorkovskiy, 44, of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, a private-ride driver, and Russian-born Alexandr Dyatchin, 38, an Uber driver who rented a summer home in the millionaires’ playground, have been charged with more than 80 crimes.

According to police, the two men ran a cocaine delivery service that served upscale locations in the Hamptons, from Newtown Lane to the prestigious Montauk Yacht Club and everywhere in between.

And what Khodorkovskiy and Dyatchin didn’t know was that many of the deals they made weren’t with high rollers looking to score even higher, but with undercover agents.

The arrests have sent shockwaves through the summer paradise — nowhere more so than at Cittanuova, a chic Italian restaurant across the street from Chanel and next door to Zimmermann — a store recommended by Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, where a plain dress will set you back more than $2,000.

It was in Cittanuova that, unbeknownst to the restaurant’s owners, Khodorkovskiy met his customers. “He has no connection with the restaurant or its staff,” Cittanuova said in a statement.

Khodorkovskiy, a U.S. citizen, was arrested near his Brooklyn home around noon on August 2. He had previously been convicted of strangling someone in New York City and is currently on probation.

Dyatchin was arrested around the same time that East Hampton Town police, along with the East End Drug Task Force, raided his vacation home in Springs, a less salubrious section of East Hampton.

The two are being held pending $2 million bail each, or $20 million surety, to be covered by a 10 percent deposit.

However, according to prosecutor Rob Archer, both men face additional charges and it is possible that one or both of them will be remanded in custody without the possibility of bail.

Prosecutors say the two men have made more than $1 million from their drug trafficking since the spring of 2003.

According to Archer, an assistant district attorney in the narcotics division, the two men “worked together”: Khodorkovsky served customers on Newtown Lane, while Dyatchin served points to the east, including Amagansett and Montauk. Several sales took place at the exclusive Montauk Yacht Club.

Dyatchin’s deals include a Stop and Shop supermarket in East Hampton, the Beach Bounce restaurant in Montauk and Rosie’s, a trendy eatery in Amagansett.

None of the companies whose addresses are named in the criminal complaints have been implicated in any wrongdoing.

Both men pick up their customers, make a short drive and complete the drug sale, prosecutors say

According to Archer, during a search of Khodorkovskiy’s Brooklyn home, agents found more than a kilogram of cocaine and a trove of gold coins worth more than $100,000.

Khodorkovsky, Archer said, has a bank account with more than $130,000 in it.

Khodorkovskiy currently faces 47 felony charges, the most serious of which are four counts of first-degree sale of a narcotic drug, an A-1 felony. The four sales each involved more than two ounces of pure cocaine, the charges say.

Archer noted that Khodorkovskiy has not yet been charged with first-degree possession following the raid on his Brooklyn home, which he said is coming. Archer also noted that more charges are coming, including the toughest drug laws in New York State, which would charge the defendants as drug lords.

When police raided Dyatchin’s home, they found $19,000 in cash and more than half a kilo of cocaine, already packaged in hundreds of packages and ready for shipment.

He had recently moved back to The Hamptons from Florida. Police seized the Mercedes Benz where they said he worked, as well as a motorcycle.

While Khodorkovskiy dealt exclusively in couture cocaine, Dyatchin also regularly sold MDMA, known on the streets in Montauk as Molly or Ecstasy, to undercover agents.

Archer asked that bail for both be set at a minimum of $2 million and that the source of the bail be investigated first to ensure it was not illegally obtained money. He also pointed out that more serious charges would likely be filed to justify the high bail request.

Tony Mirvis, representing Khodorkovsky, and Kenneth Russo, representing Dyatchin, both argued against the high bail amount. Mirvis pointed out that his client has never missed a court hearing and that such a high bail amount was equivalent to being held without bail. Russo said his client had never been arrested before and that family was present in the courtroom.

Dyatchin’s sister, who lives in New Jersey, was in the audience.

Archer said Dyatchin’s visa to remain in the U.S. had expired, as had his passport. Born in Russia, Archer said Dyatchin is a citizen of Serbia.
