Inside the glamorous life of Matthew Perry’s ketamine queen Jasveen Sangha as she’s hauled to jail for his overdose death

With her designer clothes, celebrity friends and extravagant vacations, Jasveen Sangha looks like a typical Hollywood socialite.

But behind the shiny exterior lurks a criminal side, prosecutors say, alleging she was responsible for supplying the ketamine that killed Matthew Perry.

In addition to organizing extravagant parties and flights in private jets, Sangha is also said to have been active as a drug dealer in Los Angeles.

Her alleged antics have even earned her the nickname “Ketamine Queen,” according to an indictment accusing her and four others of involvement in Perry’s October 2023 overdose death.

The woman holds dual American and British citizenship and is currently in custody until her trial in October.

Alleged drug dealer Jasveen Sangha has not been shy about flaunting her flashy lifestyle

Friends told DailyMail.com how Sangha celebrated her birthday at a Hollywood bar a few days ago.

But her new home is a far cry from the glamorous lifestyle often seen on her Instagram page.

Just two weeks after Perry’s death, Sangha flew to Tokyo, where she drank lychee martinis at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, where suites cost $1,847 a night.

A few months later, another post shows her eating caviar as she waits to fly to Mexico in February, just four months after Perry’s death.

Sangha posted selfies with a grin on her face while sunbathing during a trip to Playa del Carmen, where she showed off her beachfront home while sipping cocktails by the pool.

She also boasted about her health and wellness journey, getting IVs after nights out and advocating “sound healing,” which she called “absolutely uplifting and cleansing for the heart and soul.”

The week before Perry’s death, Sangha threw a lavish “Players’ Ball”-themed birthday party where she posed in front of a Maybach.

Her wardrobe consists of an endless collection of jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels, sneakers from Louis Vuitton and clothes from Chanel.

Her family is connected to a fashion line called Michael Paul, which had showrooms in London in the 1980s.

Just hours before her arrest, Sangha posted another Instagram post sporting a striking purple hairstyle right after arriving at the salon.

Prosecutors said she was part of a “vast criminal network” that supplied drugs to celebrities.

Since then, reports have surfaced that Sangha met Perry while in rehab, where she also befriended Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife and actress.

A photo posted by Sangha’s uncle shows the alleged drug dealer partying with Sheen during a night out in Beverly Hills.

Sangha is just one of five people arrested on August 15 in connection with Perry’s death on October 28, 2023.

The actor was found unconscious in the hot tub of his LA home. It was later determined that he had died from the “acute effects of ketamine.”

He was receiving ketamine infusion therapy at the time to treat his depression, but his last sessions were a week and a half before he died, ruling out the possibility that the ketamine in his system came from this.

Doctors Salvador Plasencia, 42, and Mark Chavez, 54, drug dealer Eric Fleming, 54, and Perry’s live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, have all been charged.

In an indictment, texts between the suspects revealed that Sangha was known in the community for “only dealing”[ing] with high-end and celebrities in her drug trade.

She is accused of using her North Hollywood home, referred to in the indictment as the “Sangha Stash House,” for the storage, packaging and distribution of narcotics, including ketamine and methamphetamine.

It is further alleged that Sangha knew about the dangers of selling ketamine after another alleged client of hers, Cody McLaury, died of an overdose in 2019.

DEA Director Anne Milgram said Sangha was a “major source of supply” [of drugs] in Los Angeles during a performance at the Today Show.

“She was still running a drug empire,” Milgram said. “She was a major drug dealer, we’ve now been able to tie her ketamine sales to an individual who passed away in 2019. She’s a major supplier in Los Angeles.”

Los Angeles real estate agent Greg Wasik told DailyMail.com he was shocked to learn that his longtime friend had been charged with selling the drugs that killed Perry.

But Wasik said Sangha appeared normal and calm as she celebrated her 41st birthday with friends at a Hollywood bar a few days ago.

“I was at her birthday party the other day and there was no sign of anything like that in her life,” he said. “She was definitely just a pretty normal person that I’ve known for years.”

Artist Heather Pardieu, 42, also said she was surprised to hear of the charges against her friend Sangha, but suggested the actor himself may have been partly to blame for Perry’s death.

“She’s a friend of mine,” Pardieu told DailyMail.com. “I mean, at the end of the day, no one forces anyone to do drugs.”

She added that she had never seen Sangha dealing drugs or getting involved in them.

Sangha’s trial is scheduled for October 15, while Plascencia is scheduled to appear on October 8.

The other suspects have all already pleaded guilty or plan to do so.
