Inside the Arnold sisters’ dazzling world of ballrooms, bikinis and occasional missteps – as Rylee prepares for Dancing with the Stars debut
The 32nd season of Dancing with the Stars will not feature 29-year-old mirrorball champion Lindsay Arnold, but it will feature one of her three younger sisters.
Rylee Arnold, 18, will make her debut as the newest Dancing with the Stars pro when the show hits screens on September 26. Her partner is Too Hot to Handle star Harry Jowsey.
The girls’ other sisters β Jensen, 25, and Brynley, 23 β are currently focusing on family life, rather than the reality TV spotlight, but that doesn’t mean fans should miss out.
That’s because the four talented dancers also run the successful YouTube channel The Arnold Sisters, which has over 150,000 subscribers, in which they do much more than just dance.
Who are the Arnold sisters inside and outside the dance world?
Brynley Arnold, 23, Lindsay Arnold, 29, Jensen Arnold, 25, and Rylee Arnold, 18, are all accomplished ballroom dancers and now have a popular YouTube channel
Jensen Arnold finished in second place on season 15 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2018. She teamed up with Jay Jay Dixonbey before he was eliminated.
Who is Lindsay Arnold?
Lindsay is Arnold’s eldest sister – an accomplished Latin and ballroom dancer.
She auditioned and made it to the live shows on season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2012, when she was 18, and finished in the top 8.
Lindsay was later hired as a professional dancer for season 16 of Dancing with the Stars and finished in fourth place with partner Victor Ortiz in 2013.
She remained a member of the Dancing with the Stars family for several seasons, did not appear in season 29 due to her pregnancy, and she announced her departure from the show after season 30 in 2021.
Lindsay Arnold was a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars after competing on So You Think You Can Dance. She teamed up with Alek Skarlatos during season 21 in 2015, and they finished in third place
Lindsay married her high school sweetheart Samuel Cusick on June 18, 2015.
Dancers Jenna Johnson and Emma Slater served as bridesmaids, while So You Think You Can Dance contestant Witney Carson was her maid of honor.
She has two children: Sage Jill Cusick, 2, and June Cusick, 4 months.
During the pandemic, she faced controversy for taking a luxurious vacation with her husband and son.
And even more recently, when she posted photos of her wakesurfing with her two-year-old daughter in her arms.
Since leaving Dancing with the Stars, she has reached over a million followers on Instagram and regularly posts photos and videos of her with her children.
Who is Jensen Arnold?
Jensen is the second-oldest sister who, like Lindsay, is an accomplished Latin and ballroom dancer with reality television experience.
Her first attempt at the spotlight was during a So You Think You Can Dance audition with Dancing with the Stars pro Brandon Armstrong in 2015, with head judge Nigel Lythgoe telling her to “come back next year.”
She was later seen in season 1 of the CBS series World of Dance as a member of the ballroom dance team FUZE in 2017.
Jensen returned for season 15 of So You Think You Can Dance in 2018, finishing first runner-up behind Hannahlei Cabanilla.
Jensen Arnold has led a quiet life after competing in So You Think You Can Dance, and continues to choreograph in Utah
She married her longtime boyfriend Topher Hill in 2018 and gave birth to their son Brooks on June 24, 2022.
She announced her engagement to Topher Hill on social media a month into the 2018 season, after the couple went skydiving together, and married on December 27, 2018.
The couple welcomed their first child, Brooks Joshua Hill, now one year old, in 2022, and have posted several photos and videos of him on Instagram.
Jensen has appeared on reality TV since So You Think You Can Dance and has since focused on family and choreographing.
Who is Brynley Arnold?
Unlike Lindsay and Jensen, Brynley has not shown her dancing talents on reality television.
Instead, she stuck to strict ballroom standing β and more recently, she put that aside to become a nurse in 2020.
Brynley was a medical assistant for four years prior to her RN designation.
She also worked as an emergency room nurse and as director of nursing at a mental health facility in Utah.
Brynley Arnold was a competitive dancer and model before becoming a registered RN. She now runs one-year-old Quinn’s stock with her husband, Donny McGinnis
Brynley eventually founded nursebryn in 2022, which offers cosmetic injections and infusion therapy for patients.
When she is not working in the medical field, she enjoys married life with her husband of three years, Donny McGinnis.
Their wedding was planned during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the process was featured in a 2021 spread Utah Valley Bride magazine.
She and Donny share daughter Quinn, who, like her cousins, can be seen in several social media posts on Instagram.
Who is Rylee Arnold?
Rylee is the youngest and third Arnold sister to dance on television – the second to make a career out of it.
The teen first appeared as a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors in 2018, finishing in fourth place with her partner Miles Brown.
The junior pro was mentored during that season by a Dancing with the Stars pro, in this case her sister Lindsay.
However, the spin-off was canceled after the first season and Rylee continued her training and competitive dancing in the following years.

She recently graduated from high school and on May 20, she showed off her diploma on social media.
Rylee’s most recent Instagram posts include videos and photos of Harry, along with clips of her dancing that were featured on Good Morning America.
Her social media does not confirm her relationship status, but Instagram users commented on it she is reportedly dating a boy named Anson Holman.
Rylee is currently the only Arnold sister without children, but Lindsay praised her skills as an aunt in July.
She said, “She’s so patient, so loving, and they love her so much.”
