Lincolnshire’s four-day Swingathon sex festival has so far seen revellers search for sex toys, cool each other off with hoses and frolic in their underwear.
The event, Britain’s largest swingers festival, kicked off yesterday in the picturesque hamlet of Allington, near Grantham, attracting a thousand revellers.
The X-rated festival features play tents, pole dancing, hot tubs, foam parties, mobile dungeons and butt plug bingo.

The event also showed off a large ‘SpicyLounge’ tent on their Instagram story, with the caption: ‘The SpicyLounge is something to behold! Along with the moon!’
Partygoers have been posting selfies and photos of themselves at the festival, with one photo showing someone holding up a water hose and appearing to be drinking from it.

Residents of Allington, Lincolnshire, prepared for 1,000 visitors to their sleepy village for a four-day sex and fetish event called Swingathon
Angry residents have complained to police about the “screaming and groaning” heard from the rural site, which has kept them awake at night in previous years.
And this year’s X-rated festival is the biggest Swingathon festival yet, featuring ‘play tents’, pole dancing, hot tubs, foam parties, mobile dungeons – and butt plug bingo.
One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: ‘I’ve heard about the noise complaints before, but they’re not the sounds you want to hear when you’re trying to sleep.’
They added: ‘It all seems a bit dodgy if I’m honest, not my thing. To each their own I guess, but we don’t really want or need it in the village.’
However, the event does enjoy some support from the residents of Allington.
Someone commented on social media: ‘If everyone present is into it, there’s no problem.

“Let them do their thing, enjoy what they want to do, and I’m sure they will!”
Kinky guests have paid up to £265 per ticket, which gets them a couples ticket, including shower use and electricity.
According to reports, the number of participants has doubled from 500 to 1,000 in the past year, with organizers promising it will be “bigger, bolder and better.”
The event was given the green light despite objections raised last year by South Kesteven District Council’s licensing committee and Lincolnshire Police, who cited crime and disorder prevention, public safety, public nuisance prevention and child protection as reasons for objecting to the festival.
The Allington community website describes the village as ‘a charming village situated on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir’ and adds: ‘Our community is vibrant and welcoming.’

Since the start of Swingathon, social media posts have also shown photos of some of the event’s stalls, selling items such as bondage gear and spanking paddles.
The event has received some support from Allington residents, however. One commented on social media: ‘If everyone who’s there is up for it then there’s no problem. Just let them do their thing, enjoy what they want to do and I’m pretty sure they will!’
Swingathon organisers were granted a temporary event permit (TEN) and said they had received more support from local authorities this year.
Co-organiser Matthew Cole said: “It’s great to have their support this year.
‘Last year we had a headache from start to finish, but this year it’s completely different and they’re working with us much better.
“They give us advice on how we can do better, so it’s great that they’re more involved this year.
“I think they realize we’re not going anywhere. We put a lot of work and time into the event.
‘We sold more tickets than ever before and with the support of the city council it couldn’t have gone better than I had hoped.’
The event also includes another spicy festival aimed at people with fetishes: FetFest.

The event will also feature several bands performing alongside DJs, dancers and comedy acts.
Other entertainment includes a Naked Attraction-style competition, drag and burlesque acts, and sensual massages.
Since the start of Swingathon, social media posts have also shown photos of stalls at the event, selling items such as bondage gear and spanking paddles.
Organiser Kerry Voellner said: ‘The event provides a very social and safe space for people from different lifestyles to meet new people.
‘This year it’s bigger, better and bolder. There will be fire breathers, pole dancers, acrobats and much more.
‘We have a huge LGBT space and we do a lot of workshops, there’s a very holistic offering.
‘There are two festivals this year. They are separate but on the same day.
‘We soon discovered that the target group was larger and that there were many people who followed different, alternative lifestyles.
‘FetFest is for modern people who are into fetishes. We are just a normal festival for people with an alternative lifestyle.’
