Inside Phillip Schofield’s £2M London bachelor pad

He’s been laying low since he sensationally quit This Morning this weekend.

Still, Phillip Schofield won’t be hiding in squalor, as he has a luxury apartment in west London just a stone’s throw from the Thames, having splashed £2million on the property in 2020.

The new house on a wide residential street features a beautiful open kitchen, three receptions, six bedrooms and a converted basement, as well as a beautiful large conservatory and expansive garden perfect for entertaining.

Amid his £9m ‘amicable’ divorce from wife Stephanie, the father-of-two bought a bachelor pad in the capital where he would live close to famous friends such as Holly Willoughby and Declan Donnelly.

While they may be in the middle of a bitter feud, Holly was one of the first visitors to Phillip’s house when she helped him settle in two years ago.

Phillip may be getting a new neighbor once former co-star Alison Hammond is on the hunt for a new home after putting her £700,000 Birmingham home on the market on the same day Phillip left This Morning.

The silver fox has already impressed its current neighbors after being spotted in pubs along the River Thames.

Locals told MailOnline shortly after Phillip moved in that he is seen more on foot or on a bike than in his luxury Jaguar sports car, which has a private number plate and is parked in the forecourt of his new home.

A neighbor said: ‘It’s caused quite a stir since he moved in and got people really excited. He seems like a very nice man and very normal. You mainly see him walking or cycling and he smiles every time he passes by.’

Another neighbor added: ‘There are quite a few famous people living here already, so it won’t be a problem if Phillip Schofield moves in.

“Many people are talking about it, but no one bothers him. He’s a nice guy and I’m sure he’ll enjoy living in our community.’

Phillip and his estranged wife also co-own a £2.5 million plush land pile in Henley-on-Thames, which has been the family home for many years with their two adult daughters, Ruby and Mollie.

The TV star also owns an incredible holiday home in Portugal, in the Algarve, offering stunning views over the Portuguese hills.

It was recently reported that Phillip’s former co-star Alison put her house on the market on the same day he quit This Morning.

The much-loved presenter, 48, listed her £700,000 home in Solihull in the Midlands, where she’s lived with 18-year-old son Aiden for three years.

The move gives Alison the freedom to be closer to West London, where the ITV studios are based, in case she gets more duties on This Morning.

She currently hosts the Friday segment with Dermot O’Leary and the two replaced Holly this week after Phillip dramatically left the show over the weekend after 21 years at the helm.

The Daily Mail previously reported that Alison is Holly’s favorite to replace him and that she has one of the bookmakers’ favorites to take over when Holly returns to the show next month.

A source told The sun: ‘The timings are entirely coincidental, but perhaps telling. Alison loves that house, but wants a fresh start. She is in incredible demand.

“It looks very likely that she will be asked to work on This Morning more days a week – and will therefore spend more time in London.”

Alison’s Birmingham abode features a hot tub, dining room and spacious open-plan kitchen, as well as a huge garden.

She moved in during the 2020 lockdown, before showing off her new home live on This Morning to an adoring Phillip and Holly.

The presenter appeared live from her living room with a wall full of memories of her TV career, a sleek white dining table and large mirrors

It went on the market on Thursday as ITV bosses held emergency talks with Phillip about his departure, before he quit the show for good on Saturday.
