Penrith’s wild finals celebrations show no signs of slowing down, with players partying after dawn after sealing their status as the best rugby team in almost 60 years.
The side’s historic 14-6 win over the Storm in the NRL grand final This makes them only the third team in history to claim four consecutive premierships, and the first since the great St George team won eleven in a row from 1956 to 1966.
After celebrations on the field, Brian To’o received a crown from his wife, after which the players moved to the sheds to continue the celebrations.
Players showed off their 2024 Grand Final rings, and some had several on their fingers as they celebrated the incredible four-peat.
Many players wore ski goggles to keep the squirting liquor out of their eyes and could be seen wearing colorful Polynesian candy leis around their necks.
Leis are given at weddings, birthdays and celebrations – and the Panthers had plenty to celebrate.
Australian Olympic champion and Panther veteran Jessica Fox appeared on several players’ social media feeds to celebrate in the sheds.
Hooker Mitch Kenny, who used to be a groundskeeper for Penrith, posted a photo of himself cutting the grass at Accor Stadium.

The team was bused from the stadium to the club’s grounds in the early hours of the morning, but not without a pit stop at the Panthers Leagues club.
‘Best ever… Big love for the riff!’ Nathan Cleary captioned an Instagram clip of the club in party mode.
Players were still at it when Monday arrived, when Izack Tago posted a clip on social media of his bleary-eyed teammates.
Normally the team would do a fan greeting at the BlueBet Stadium after the victory, but the club has chosen to postpone the official occasion until Wednesday.
Players instead partied behind closed doors on Monday at a party hosted by club boss Matt Cameron.

When asked on Sunday night how the title of the best team of the NRL era sat with him, Cleary suggested it was now undisputed.
“In the NRL era for sure. I don’t think there’s much more we can do,” the Penrith halfback said.
“That Dragons team was a great term at the time and did a great job. But in terms of the NRL era, it’s pretty crazy.
“We’ve lost great players on this journey, and next year we’ll lose even more, but we just keep finding a way, people just step up.
“Paul Alamoti came in and lost Critta (Stephen Crichton) and then Taylan May, and now he’s on the big stage and he’s definitely on the mend.
“It’s special to have that culture and bring in people who just do their job and probably exceed it, honestly.”
