Mike Cannon-Brookes has built a real estate empire worth nearly $300 million with the future of their property in the spotlight following his split from his wife.
The Atlassian co-founder has numerous properties to his name with the combined value of the homes estimated to be around $290 million.
But after more than a decade of marriage, it was announced this month that he is separating from his fashion designer wife Annie, with whom he shares four children.
The shocking news has raised questions about the future of the real estate empire with homes along the exclusive northern beaches and eastern suburbs.
The portfolio is held in the name of Mr. Cannon-Brookes or in the legal entity of CBC Co Pty Limited, of which the co-founder of Atlassian is the sole director.
Annie’s name may not be on the portfolio, but she is believed to have led several property acquisitions in Sydney and the Northern Beaches.
The three-acre Fairwater house in Point Piper, where the late Lady Mary Fairfax lived, was the most extravagant of the couple’s purchases.

The couple’s 3-acre Fairwater home in Point Piper, where the late Lady Mary Fairfax lived, was the couple’s most extravagant purchase.
They bought it in 2018, despite its intimidating $100 million price tag, which made it the most expensive house at the time.

The split comes as Mr. Cannon-Brookes reaches the number four spot on The Australian’s Richest 250, with an estimated personal wealth of $26.2 billion.
It was previously reported that the pair first met at a Qantas lounge while traveling between Sydney and San Francisco.
They married in 2010 and have four children together.
