After years of working on their mega-mansion, Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan finally moved into their home last week — and made sure to arrive in style.

As a nod to their visit to the home — which involved the demolition of a farmhouse to make way for the massive estate — the couple held a festival-themed pool party in the yard of their new home on Sunday night.

Given his past work as a party planner, something he bragged about in the 14th episode of TOWIE’s second season when he hosted an on-screen pool party, Mark, 36, pulled out all the stops to make sure they entered their home in style .

Revelers enjoyed performances from Scouting For Girls, Olly Murs and James Argent, as well as a comedy set from Russell Kane, while a DJ later appeared on the turntables and a fireworks display rounded off the evening before coaches took guests home.

Mark and Michelle couldn’t help getting cozy when they appeared on boyfriend Rachael Dodds’ Instagram stories dancing together as Olly performed and shared a tender hug and kiss as he performed Dance With Me Tonight.

A slew of photos posted on social media gave insight into the lavish party, which saw decorations consisting of huge amounts of balloons dotted all over the house and guests in festival-inspired looks sipping cocktails from The Occasion Bar Co.

Michelle looked stunning for the party as she posed in a chic cream embellished playsuit and a pair of suede cowboy boots.

Mark delightedly revealed that Olly had performed and described how much effort his friend had made to appear and sing, playing in front of the pool alongside backing singers and a live band.

He wrote: ‘So this happened!! My son Olly Murs performed for our loved ones in our garden!! (Amazing Emoji) The type of person/friend he is…

‘Performed last night, 5 hours on the way to his next destination, but took a detour to us on the way. Mursy, we will be eternally grateful. Legend (Blue Heart Emoji).’

Mark’s longtime friend James took to Instagram to pose with the couple and offer his congratulations in a sweet caption accompanying the post.

He wrote: ‘Congratulations to my dear friends Mark and Michelle for finally completing your dream home. I am so proud of you and I love you very much…

“I had so much fun performing with my @theargband at the House Warming party #marchella today.”

At his iconic 2011 TOWIE pool party, Mark famously banned his then-fiance Lauren Goodger from attending, claiming she would interrupt his work, but she defied her husband-to-be and arrived at the party anyway.

Upon arrival, she was appalled to see him talking to other women, so she pushed Mark into the pool – a move that was rebroadcast and praised as TOWIE celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2020.
