INSIDE MAIL: Ozempic rumours flood TV land as high-profile Seven news anchor sheds kilos at an alarming rate

It’s never easy to give up treats at this time of year, as we head into the no-review period and a seemingly endless stream of Christmas party invitations.

But it seems quite a few male television reporters are forgoing the holiday cakes and instead committing to slimming down during silly season.

Inside Mail revealed two of the nine most talked about stars last week: Seb Costello And Karl Stefanovićhad brought about dramatic ‘transformations’ leading up to the festive break.

As you may recall, according to last week’s weigh-in, Costello had lost 40 pounds after fully committing to a healthy health kick and working hard at his local Fitness Ring boxing gym in Richmond.

We’re even hearing that the highly regarded journalist may have shifted that last stubborn pound to make it an even twenty when he stepped on the scale this time.

Gym owner Tonia Bouzetos is impressed by Costello’s commitment and thinks he is a great example of what a little perseverance and determination can achieve.

And Stefanović?

Well, he bought a pair of reading glasses, which is a great example of what a trip to the optometrist can achieve.

Seb Costello has spent all his time in the gym and has lost at least 19kg, and maybe even more

Now we hear they’re not the only ones focusing on getting in shape and being ‘beach body ready’ in the run-up to the summer holidays.

Word is one of their main rivals at Seven and has hit the Ozempic hard of late, with his colleagues now calling him ‘the incredible shrinking man of television’ behind his increasingly streamlined back.

Inside Mail wouldn’t exactly have called him ‘fat’ to begin with. We don’t fall for that kind of childish fat-shaming.

Instead, we applaud him for his victory in his battle against the Ardennes. If he had a little help from the doctor, who cares?

We’d tell you who we’re talking about… but what would be the fun in that?

Instead, we’ll let Inside Mail’s savvy readers see if they can pick the presenter… you’re usually pretty good at figuring those things out!
